Pretty damn good hour of TV right there.
I admit, I usually say a carnal sin of SH shows is not having "the suit" involved at some point. But I didn't really miss it. This was this season's "Flashback episode",but I would have liked an episode with a little more Slade as the focus. Maybe next year.
It was fun seeing all the old cast back together as their "before Arrow" selves.
It was really cool getting a glimpse of Digg's brother.Although,I thought Digg would've been doing a tour still at that point.
I love seeing Tommy any chance we get. I still really hope they bring him back 'Red Hood' style.
Lance with hair! I'm reminded once again why I hated his character in the first season.

The Felicity one probably wasn't necessary, but it was cute seeing her as she used to behave again.
Marc Singer is always welcome. Hope his role is interesting.
Having Ollie kill the drug dealer seemed consistent with S1 Ollie, but he had to know how risky that was, going to Tommy's.
I'm glad they did the sensible thing of having Ollie think about breaking away. I mean, his family is rich & famous. I'm guessing they wouldn't be quite so defenseless. Why would he need to go back to Hong Kong to be debriefed? They can't do that in the States? Again,it seems they're stretching the story just to keep him at bay.
Thea was very good here. It was probably a mistake having her turn on Malcolm last episode, when she had a much more compelling reason here. Willa did a great job with the Sara Revelation. So kudos to her. Barrowman was great too, since I had felt he'd been phoning in most of the last few episodes. I hope this Malcolm storyline ends with a fight between Malcolm,Thea & Oliver. I'll be pretty disappointed if he dies by Ra's hand, but I suppose that's the only way he could die.(and I'm guessing he will die this season)
I loved the whole 'Khan' scene. "I'll leave you as you left me.." "SLADE!!!"

The hoodie greasepaint gag was funny.
I'm glad they gave us a glimpse of how Quinton is taking Sara's death. It seems he has the natural reaction. I really can't blame Laurel for keeping it from him, knowing how he took her death the first time.(as we were reminded this very episode) Laurel should've clarified that Mama Lance pretty much figured out the truth on her own.
Anyway, great episode. Seems like the reverse of last season, where the last few episodes were unwieldy after a strong set up. Here, the whole season has been unwieldy, but it seems the wind up is getting stronger each episode.
