I would like to see MORE of the Batman "mythos" that we love from the comics. I mean:
-The Batcave completed
-Bruce Wayne´s mansion restored
-A new and redesigned Batmobile, maybe?
-Batpod still there
-A new suit

More like "comic", but with Chris Nolan, of course, and his realism.

The end of film could be black mask goes jail. but right at the end we will go to a room that we have seen black mask coming out of then locking. the person in the room will be a mystery up untill the last second. the door will open and we will see a coin flip then it goes to his face and its two face says payback film ends set up ready for number 4 well i can hope theres a 4th film

I want a film with a different villains like Riddler, Mad Hatter, Scarface, Penguin... without the Joker, even if we know that he is locked up. I want his actions from 'The Dark Knight' to be felt throughout the film and somehow at the end of the film I wish him to play a crucial part in the story, shaping things that Bruce can't stand anymore and crosses the line by killing the Joker with his own hands in Arkham. (They don't even need to recast him with a great actor, because he will be only shown as dead at the hands of Batman) After that, in the end I want Batman to remain in Arkham, locked up with all the inmates that he has put there.
Maybe this is stupid, or maybe it's a bad idea, but it's just a thought for an ending that would none expect, just like we got with The Dark Knight.

maybe a reference to bruce from alfred about being late for a date with ms kyle to go to the circus

I personally think they should film three and four at the same time. I think they should do a two part ending to this stage of Batmans story. I really think they need to lay the groundwork for:
Nightwing
Catwoman & Huntress / Birds of Prey
Dark Knight Returns / Batman vs Superman
Justice League / Justice League Unlimited

Batman dies as a hero. that would complete the Nolan trilogy and make his series Unforgettable

I also think that the smartest move for the studio is to use Nolan for 3 and 4 at the same time, because of The Dark Knight's success and Nolan's reluctance to even return for a sequel (but we all know that he will, and it's better if he films two movies at a same time). He would film them back to back and make a conclusion to his epic tale that no one could interfere in the future.
In this way we may get all the villains that we need to see like Scarface, Mad Hatter, Penguin, the Riddler, Clayface, even Mr Freeze if approached from a Nolan's point a view. I have also some idea for how Manbat make an appearance. I think that the sequel or even the 4th film should deal with Batman's sanity. That point was already brought up by the Joker. I would like him to end up in Arkham and there he may face his greatest demon within himself in a form of a Manbat creature. Just a thought ;)

The third Batman movie. Needs to go back to the batman begins type style. Trying to top TDK would be a mistake. in terms of action. The third movie needs to be more of a comic book movie (Batman begins) than a Crime movie.( The dark knight). Make it a psycological thriller type se7en movie with the riddler that would be best.

Thalia- I would like you to meet my father Bruce

Ras walks out

Bruce- craps pants

That would be more like The Dark Knight then Batman Begins.

If the idea really is to make films converge, you know something with that would be nice. Though I'm not sure how Nolan honestly feels about it.

Listen to you all whining about how you want the third movie to be more 'comicy'. Really? Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were more comicy. The Dark Knight is a great movie and you all want the formula to change from it...how lame.

What are you getting at with "comicy"? Have you read Batman comics? They're nothing like Batman Forever or Batman and Robin.

Comics can be campy but so can movies and tv shows. Campiness can work with adaptions as long as its well done but I agree the Batman franchise doesn't need to go back to it.

Schmuacher's Batman films were bad camp. Burton's Batman were good camp.

Batman Returns had bad camp, especially with the giant penguins:o I much rather prefer the graphic novels than the campy comics with a target audience of 10 year olds. It is ridiculous to call for comic camp when TDK was so great. Plus, BB had little comic camp anyways. SM3 was comic book campy to the n^th degree and it sucked. X3 was comic book campy to the n^th degree and it sucked. What works on a comic page doesn't mean it will work on the silver screen.

Both movies had good and bad camp. Burton went from one extreme to the other.

He still did it better then Schumacher.

Agreed.

What campy comics are you talking about?

It is ridiculous to call for comic camp when TDK was so great.

I was saying the comics haven't been campy for decades. You're more likely to see that in out of continuity specials or Batman in less realistic titles like JLA.

Plus, BB had little comic camp anyways.

What was campy in it?

SM3 was comic book campy to the n^th degree and it sucked.

All Riami's Spider-man films were campy to a degree.

X3 was comic book campy to the n^th degree and it sucked.

X3 sucked because it was a bad movie.

What works on a comic page doesn't mean it will work on the silver screen.

No, but it doesn't mean all of it campy garbage.

Batman has too much angst to be campy. He is a tragic character with tragic villians. I love Nolan's realism and some comic villians from Bats do not need to be in these movies.

It depends. It could work with the proper director and script.

Thank Lemmy you didn't mention Robin, yuck

Who is calling for comic camp? You do realise that the graphic novels are made up of comic book series right?

You're talking verbal diarrhea through your ass.

i would like to see all of this early in the third film

Batman flies into the sky, with his new partner; Robin.

(Runs out of thread.)

Although this is a very interesting concept I dont think it would be the best option. Perhaps have Batman beaten to the point of death ala Knightfall but don't "kill" him necessarily.

Here's how I see the third film ending: Bruce Wayne at his parent's grave (isn't it about time we see this?), saying he hopes they're proud of the choice heS made, and that he'll try his best to keep his promise. As he walks away into the sunset (cliche I know but I don't care), the camera slowly goes down, to reveal that his shadow is, in fact, the shadow of his alter ego (hence the title of the movie: Batman: Shadow of the bat.

(and yes, this is almost exactly the end of an episode of TAS, but I don't really care, I think it would look great).

this how I always pictured the end of the trilogy......

this or the image of Bruce at his parent's grave, suddenly looking up and seeing the batsignal in the sky, rushing to the batcave, opening his vault and taking his mask to go fight crime forever !

But that's just me :yay:
