ASM #538 who bites the bullet

Meh is all I can say.

It pretty much makes the original Retcon completely pointless. Way to go Marvel.:whatever:

Don't worry, give it a few years, and she'll be back and this one that died will have been a clone. :p
No, no, they learned their lesson about clones, at least. She'll obviously be a Skrull who came to Earth and had been impersonating [blackout]Aunt May[/blackout] for months prior to this. Then the real one'll pop back up as a horseman of Apocalypse and we'll get a Spidey/X-Men crossover that'll shatter the Internet into a million pieces, then stomp all over them, then immolate them in the fires of rebirth as Marvel enters a new, new, new, NEW era in which nothing will ever be the same again!!!!!!!111

Until she's back to [blackout]cooking up some wheatcakes[/blackout] 6 months later.

And the writer of this grand epic will be Milligan.:wow: :p

I liked the original death of [blackout]Aunt May[/blackout] it was a lot more touching.

And the way they brought back the character in the first place was completely stupid. Like Peter wouldn't have noticed that his [blackout]Aunt May[/blackout] was replaced by an actor.
Well, he obviously didn't.

Wow, So
Aunt May
bites the dust eh? Well that makes "One More Day" make less sense than I thought it would.

Just because she gets shot doesn't mean she's going to die...

Sheesh... :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

That's true. Nobody really seems angry about it anyway, just impressed by how stupid an idea it is. If that reaction is consistent across the internet, I doubt she'll actually die; it wouldn't piss enough fans off.

So, have you missed the last few years of the JMS & Joey show?

Congratulations! ....and Bendis blows goats.
 Yeah, I haven't missed the last few years and I don't remember JMS killing an important character in Amazing. Like I said, It would be cheap since he basically created the Nu aunt may. The one most people like because she isn't A) Having a heart attack every week, or B) Bashing spider-man. or C) Viewing Peter as weak.

My implication was that everything this past few years has been cheap.... plotting...story...characters.

OOooo. Well, I don't feel that way. (Only about civil war, really. I didn't like the civil war tie-in all too much. I liked certain things, but not a lot)

Yeah, and believe me...JMS killed Gwen Stacy.

But I agree that a non-frail May played better.

The Thing about all of this is that Spider-man is still too chipper in his black costume. I know it's in his character, but one would think an event like this would bring him down a bit.

This is great news! Then Tony can take Clor's hair and use it to clone a new
aunt may
. I think this is the big break marvel's been looking for!
