Has anyone read the AC books? I'd love to see what's in that encyclopaedia.

It'll just be the last encyclopaedia with AC3 related stuff added

Dunno who's got a PSP Vita....I don't. But if you do, and you're an AC fan, good news:

You get your own version of ACIII. It's called Assassin's Creed Liberation, and it follows a black female (Creole?) French assassin (Aveline), and is set between 1765 and 1780. There's no word yet on whether her setting is in America or France (or both). But apparently she is *not* an ancestor of Desmond. Launches 10/30/12, same day as ACIII.

Damn....I may have to buy a Vita JUST to play this one game. :(

Luh-huv the fact that it's set in New Orleans....probably gonna be a gorgeous city to explore.

I've been holding out on the Vita in hopes that there is a price drop and it's rumored that there will be an announcement at E3. Even if there isn't one, I may end up having to get one just for this game too, lol.

I just got reminded why AC is my favourite franchise. Ever. Both those videos have exploded my mind.

Awesome stuff,Even better than what I expected!!

ACIII trailers.

:up::up::up::up::up:

I am thoroughly impressed. This game will be so awesome.

I think this is the first time ever where the Assassin has done WAY cooler stuff in the demo than in the CGI trailer :P The tree navigation looks fantastic, so natural and like you can climb everything. It'll be fun getting used to that form of travel. Also, the two stand out moments for me were the bit where he uses the guy to block all those gunshots and picking up a bayonet rifle whilst on the move and then using it to jump kill the target. This gameplay looks phenomenal, incredibly fast, fluid and badass combat.

Is it just me or does the combat remind you of the scene from the Patriot with Mel Gibson when he is attacking that caravan of soldiers holding Heath Ledger hostage? Maybe it's just because it's the same time period I am thinking of that. But he did use some of the same moves and used a knife in conjunction with a tomahawk too.

Awesome trailer and the gameplay looks amazing October can not be come soon enough.

This. A million times, this. The game play left me in awe. Exploration looks like it will be a blast.

And now for something completely different...

E3 2012 Naval Battle Gameplay

Dear god.
THAT is one of the most beautiful things I have EVER seen in a video game. Now THAT'S how you do a frickin' naval battle --- chain shot, grape shot, the way the sinking ship heaves back up out of the water, the boarding party, all the little details of each crew member doing his own thing.....just beautiful.

They've *got* to have John Paul Jones as a cameo in here. "I have not yet begun to fight!"

I am now firmly convinced that Connor is a bigger badass than Ezio or Altair.

Contender for GOTY right there.
Yeah, I said this a few times in the E3 thread. I think it has a serious shot at contending this year. I can't really think of any other great game that I've played from this year other than Mass Effect 3.

My bet is on ACIII for game of the year. What a truly impressive showing on the first day of E3. Wow.
