I'm the one doing that. We're still testing the skins and such, Making sure I didn't miss anything and that everythings readable and such.

I think both ideas are decent. I think #1 will do a good job at slowing down spam and just overall pointless stuff. #2 will be nice because I think it rewards folks that are veteran members yet don't post constantly.

However, I'd make the large avi avalible to veteran users after their first year. Six months is no wait...

Y'know, while this place was on hiatus, I've been on Newsarama a lot and I thought that SHH should do the same thing. But since we do have a post count, this option by Drak is GREAT.

But really, I think having the "Spam" forum will really be hard for people like me to try humorous threads. Are they community or are they spammish? It would probably piss me off and lead me to hibernate at Squad some more.

No, they'd fall under Community, not the "Dumpster" or whatever we'd end up calling it.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean by the first half.

The standard would pretty much be common sense. It'd be up to the staff to decide what exactly would classify, but most of these would be obvious, such as "Word Association" or "Last thing you.." would be marked as such. Generally, if it's not condusive [sp?] to holding a conversation, then it's probably spam.

Yes and no. I was testing the Spider-Man pattern to see how it tiled, was all. There's no offical Spider-Man theme in the works yet.

When I started here you were allowed an avatar right off the bat. I don't see how it added to spam in any particular way, I was told it was because people created many multiple accounts. However I still see that.

This thread isn't for suggestions, It's for voting. The Admin's have made up their minds to allow even this so don't look a gifted horse to closesly in the mouth.
