I just checked a little bit ago and had only lost 5 points (went 3-4 in AFK battles) since I did my fights early this morning. It seems that once players get enough distance from the 1550 cutoff, many don't fight as often since there's no real chance of losing Adamantium. Plus, with the typical server issues on the final day, I don't think they fret about losing their place either.

You know what, I'm going for it. I'm going to honestly try for Angela this time. Haven't lost with my new offensive team yet. My new defensive seems to be holding. I've got a few thousands pvp energy things. Might as well go all out for her.

Give it a shot. Don't get discouraged if you don't make it. I ended up in Vibranium several times before I finally broke through. Plus it took me awhile to figure out that the final day isn't the time to try and reach Adamantium.

Exactly. Being that high makes it very hard to drop that much, plus you're out of that frantic zone around the Adamantium/Vibranium cutoff where everyone is killing themselves on the last day.

That happened to me a while ago. Decided not to play it ever again, and i've never looked back. It just isnt worth my trouble at all.

Well I only play it for

a) levelling up heroes - it's a great way to get them levelled up more quickly

b) getting the lock boxes in order to open the lock box "hero", which I've managed to do so far. It's just with this latest one I've had a run of bad luck.

I only have tomorrow to get more lockboxes to finally get Destroyer (since I should be guaranteed a cover if I get enough). But if there are all these server issues and forced refreshes, does that mean that today is in fact the last day to get him?

It must be a shorter tournament, because usually I still have a few days to spare before it ends when I've managed to recruit the character.

I got Vibranium once which was a shock to me, but that was in pvp season 4 or something. The last four pvp's I've managed to get gold or diamond mostly.

Never really tried to aim high, mostly play for the lockboxes. But my defense team seems solid and my offense team hasn't lost yet. I worked all the way from Diamond to Vibranium already with just 5 battles so I'm kind of confident I can at least get Vibranium. If i get Angela I'll be even more pleased.

Ironically Valkyrie was the first Spec Ops hero I unlocked so Angela being my first PvP hero would be rather fitting...

That said I have to go to the store now and if I come back and find I've dropped 500 points I won't be that surprised.

So do people think we'll get another SO in before Age of Ultron? Or do we have another long wait again until May?

The ideal time for another one would be around the date that Daredevil comes out if they did something related. But it depends on what they planned beforehand.

We'll definitely get another. There's too much time to go before AoU. Plus months ago Woods said SO26 was the one he was most looking forward to. That has to be the movie tie-in.

Got Destroyer going to LVL 9 so I can get one last little stat bump for the final day of the tournament. With CH 8 out, it's been a bit slower going in power leveling him. After a week of full 12.2 runs, I'd normally have a new hero near LVL 12.

Finally picked up Destroyer today, but only because I had filled up the duplicate bar. And no thanks to any help from the daily roulette, as that didn't give me any lockboxes for the entire PVP. I had to spend 5 gold to get the remaining LBs.

Yeah, had to buy LB for the Destroyer to fill up the bar due to getting too many dupes they really screw up having too many dupes showing up

I finally got my 7th cover with the last LB I earned. I had to spend gold to get him. And yep... I had to completely fill up the final bar. It cost me 69 gold total.

At least I won 10 gold on the PVP roulette today. Yay...

Got Destroyer today after getting the final cover, so yay! Now I just gotta get one more set of LBs to get Enchantress since her bonus bar is full.

I wish I could actually use PVP to level up Destroyer quickly, but there's no way to do that now, since it took until the very last day of it to get him, and I've already fought my first daily 5 fights.

Looks like I'm safely in Adamantium as I've only lost about 80 points so far from my 2050 rating I got up to this morning. Plus, with server refreshes being needed every couple minutes, I think everyone is basically stuck in their current reward tiers, except for those on the border regions between the tiers.

Same here. I made my big push on about Tuesday so it's really only been about maintenance the last couple days. I've done only 6 fights all day and still am not fretting about my spot. In earlier tournaments, the last day was about getting as many as possible in to move but not anymore with all my heroes at 14 and my armory being nearly full of new gold items without having to spend any actual money for it.

I didn't bother with the last hour. I hardly lost any. Finished at 1983.

Got a 1501 rating in pvp. Didn't get Angela but that is by far the closest I've ever gotten to adamantium. My defense battles really did most of the work, getting 4/6 defense wins and +20s each time helped. Offense was good but once I hit around 1450 it became two wins and one loss which pretty much stalemated any offensive gains.

It was like that for me for a while. You might break through next time.

Edit - Is this your first time in Vibranium? If so I should probably tell you that to get your uniform all you need to do is go to Research.

Well so long as they keep pvp heroes on sale for command points at the end of the next pvp I'm fine with not making adamantium. Can always just use command points to get them.

Though I hope they are still doing that. Nova's been locked for a while now.

Finished at 1991 so I've now done 4 in a row as well and now 6th overall. I've also now been in at least Vibranium since Season 12. Big thing now is I have 3 blaster suits and questioning whether I need all of them.

Should have had him as well but my internet went down for the last few days of that tournament and couldn't move up. I would have Rocket even without the compensation since I'd easily gotten Agent Venom the tournament before and then got Drax the following tournament.

Angela has been fun to use even with only her first couple skills available. She pre-empts and counters a lot so it'll be interesting to see how the rest of her skills work and if she'll be viable for certain PVP lineups.
