What type of stories sleeping with robots?I can just see it now going from Nightcrawler as her love interest in WATXM to having a robot as a love interest in Avengers.I don't think Chris Yost will do anything that stupid. For a long time Avenger she seems to fit in perfectly in the last 2 xmen shows . I wonder why

Because she's a compelling character no matter what, that's why. Have you ever read the old issues of "Avengers" when she was a prominent member? Especially when she was married to Vision? Because some great stories came out of that.

Wow. No offense, but this is pretty close-minded. The Scarlet Witch and Vision's relationship is great, most definitely one of the more unique ones in comics. Between this and saying the Scarlet Witch doesn't work as an Avenger, I have to wonder how much classic Avengers you've actully read.

It always strikes me as funny and a little sad when someone says "robot" like numerous writers haven't spent decades proving that the Vision is every bit as human as anyone else. One of the greatest characters in comics, as far as I'm concerned.

In the comics? Dead as a doornail. He has a successor, also called the Vision but a different character, who's one of the Young Avengers. Or occasionally an Avenger, when some of the less discerning writers decide to randomly start writing him as the original Vision for no apparent reason.

*cough*Bendis*cough*

Dang. Every time I learn of a cool character they are already dead, or crazy.

Isn't he supposed to come back soon or something?

Not that I'm aware of. Vision 2.0 is supposed to join the Avengers full-time soon, though. He's in the picture of Bendis' new roster for the main Avengers title. Bendis tends to write Vision 2.0 as the original, though, so I guess it's kind of like the original coming back. If you don't mind that Vision 2.0's actually supposed to be a completely different character...

Looks similar, has similar-ish powers. They're generated in different ways, but he's got the density manipulation, flight, and energy beams.

Yeah.

But he's supposed to act like Iron Lad aka a young Kang the Conqueror.

Well, his mind is based on Iron Lad's. So he's got the emotional maturity of a teenager and no connection to the original Vision's memories.

Yeah, doesn't mean he's evil or anything just that he's a teenager and since Iron Lad had a thing for Ant Man II's daughter, so does Teen Vision.

Much like the original's personality was based on Wonder Man's who happened to be in love with the Scarlet Witch. Hence, the attraction.

Yep. They've both evolved into their own personalities, though. The Vision's not quite Wonder Man or Alex Lipton; Vision 2.0's not quite Iron Lad.

All sounds interesting. What book is this Vision right now?

Well, Vision 2.0 is basically made up of 25th Century Kang Armor. He's far more advanced. Technically, he could do a hell of a lot more than original vision could. (Who is basically a time displaced Android Human Torch with a few extra doodads tossed in.)

I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to hack into Kang's Temporal Armory. (Why writers haven't jumped on that is beyond me.)

I don't think they really go into how either Vision manipulates his density, as far as I recall. They both just can.

The beams, however, are different. The original Vision has a solar jewel on his forehead that absorbs sunlight and allows him to fire that energy off as a beam of microwave radiation, effectively making it a heat beam. Vision 2.0 just fires the energy blasts of Kang's armor through the jewel on his forehead--which only looks like it has a jewel because Kang's armor can change shape into whatever the wearer (or in Vision 2.0's case, AI) wants.

Vision 2.0 probably has other powers as well, but he sticks to just replicating the original Vision's powers for the most part. Brand recognition, I guess. He has used the armor's holographic projections and shapeshifting ability as "powers" before, though.

Oh ok, thanks Corp

I need some help. I'm working on a list of all the characters who appear in the first season, but of course there's so many cameos culled from the most obscure corners of the Marvel Universe that it's taxing even my knowledge and research skills. I know that almost everyone who isn't a generic AIM, Hydra, or SHIELD agent is probably a character, but there are a few that I'm sill uncertain about:

  • In "Hulk vs. The World," we see a Hulkbuster agent with a handlebar mustache and a cowboy hat. He pops up again in "Gamma World." Is he somebody from the comics? In the same episode there's a blonde SHIELD agent with freckles. Is she somebody? (I thought I heard someone call her "Betty" but I'm really not sure.)
  • In "Meet Captain America" we see Cap and Bucky fight a Horde of Asgardian monsters, including a Goat-bull thing, a giant wolf, some pixies, and a few others. Are these distinct creatures culled from the comics or just wild monster ideas the writers conjured up from scratch? Also there's a wrinkly old Hydra guy with white hair who pulls a lever to activate something. Who was that guy? (I thought it might be Silvermane, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't around in WWII.)
  • In "Panther's Quest" Man-Ape has a pair of Wakandan warrior girls assisting him, and they get to fight Cap later in the episode. I vaguely recall reading something about them in Wizard Magazine or something, but I never read Black Panther's own title so I don't know their names if they have any.
That's all for right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The giant wolf in "Meet Captain America" might be Fenris Wolf, but I don't think so. He goes down kind of easy for Fenris Wolf, who generally tends to own the Warriors Three, meets Thor blow-for-blow now and then, is prophesied to eat Odin, etc. I think the Asgardian monsters are just random Asgardian monsters from the Nine Worlds. Which, in part, is why the Skull's scheme was so terrifying. If these are just random dudes from the other worlds, imagine how badass the people with actual names and reputations will be. ;)
