World Avengers cartoon - Part 2

Hey, I like Wolverine in the Avengers. WATXM and EMH are in the same universe. I'd like to see him become an Avenger on the show.
I believe Chris Yost said that now that W&TXM is discontinued any connection it might have had with Avengers: EMH pretty much went out the window.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:shock you sure?

I hate Wolverine as an Avenger. He's a stone cold killer who is prone to fits of uncontrollable rage. On the Secret Avengers? Sure. But the main Avengers team?
Not even on the Secret Avengers. The Secret Avengers are not X-Force. They don't exist to kill because, quite frankly, Steve Rogers would never sanction something like that. It's just not how he operates. They're a low-key squad of Avengers meant to deal with threats that fly under the radar. Things that threaten the world but can't be easily traced to that army of Ultrons cackling like crazy people in the middle of Manhattan.

So, basically, what I'm saying is that Wolverine (in his current incarnation as a kill-crazy psychopath with no feelings beyond wanting to murder things and drink beer) is all wrong for any Avengers team. :o

Cool with me. I never much cared for that idea anyways.

Me too the x men are too big to be showing up in other marvel shows.I mean its the x men not fantastic 4.When it comes to animation x men is marvels biggest property

Maybe you should read the latest issue of Secret Avengers (16). Seems like Mr. Ellis like them to kill bad guys in order to save the inocent. I'm still not cool with that but Rogers seems to be. :(

Josh Fine, one of the creators of the Avengers cartoon, has also said it works if you do want to connect and it works if you don't.

It was originally written with the intent to connect both shows, but at the time they thought there would be more of Wolverine and The X-men which ended up not happening.

^But do they really need W&tXm to still be on to connect the two? the Justice League cartoon was still connected to B:TAS and S:TAS even though both of those had ended. If it works both ways I suppose not. But it seems like if they want to have some continuity they should just do it.

Well they kind of did.

Fury has the same voice actor in both shows. Wolverine and the X-Men exist in both shows. Mutants and the MRD are previously established and mentioned in Avengers. So it basically works. Nothing in Avengers contradicts Wolverine and The X-Men.

Banner/Hulk's appearance is consistent with where he was when we last saw him in Wolverine And The X-Men. At large and out of the clutches of SHIELD and the government.

They blew up an entire underground city to stop the Shadow Council from turning said city into a teleporting WMD. Plus, Ellis at least made it a hard decision for both Steve and Beast. They did what was necessary as a last resort to stop a horrible would-be tragedy they had no other way of stopping. Still way more superhero than death-squad in my book.

Beast has no high ground to stand on anymore :p . He should make up with Scott.

What about Wendigo, though? The one in the Avengers continuity is MUCH different than the one in the Wolverine show.

It's not a straight continuity per se. It is for the people that want it to be. Those other shows aren't around anymore so it's up to the viewer to imagine their connected.

Or not connected, as I happily imagine them to be. Mostly because Wolverine and the X-Men was a mediocre show built around a stupid idea. :)

Beast still hasn't made his own personal death squad to kill people whenever the mood strikes him. I'd say he's still quite safe in his moral righteousness, at least in comparison to Scott. ;)

I actually liked Wolverine and The X-Men almost as much as A:EMH (not as much though), although I'd rather have Cyclops as the leader instead of Wolverine.

I liked Beast and Nightcrawler in it. Everything else was mediocre to sucky.

I liked Iceman and Cyclops too, but they really need to make Colossus a main member in an X-Men cartoon for once.

Lets not forget Angel, Sinister Magneto, Domino, Bishop Emma were also greatThe show also showed that Wanda belongs and fits in better to the x universe not Avengers. So happy she is not in this show

What are you talking about? Wanda is a long time Avenger and has plenty of stories that can be told as an Avenger. Much more so than a member of the Xmen.

Yeah, using her with the X-Men doesn't magically make her better with them. She's an Avenger, period. Once they fix this ridiculous insanity/reality-warping nonsense, she'll be one of the greats among the Avengers again.

What type of stories sleeping with robots?I can just see it now going from Nightcrawler as her love interest in WATXM to having a robot as a love interest in Avengers.I don't think Chris Yost will do anything that stupid. For a long time Avenger she seems to fit in perfectly in the last 2 xmen shows . I wonder why

We'll all be 100 years old when that happens.
