We don't know which one.
Of course we do, Strange says to Tony right before he dies, that it had to be this way.
We don't know which one.
Them getting the gauntlet wouldn't have mattered, as that would have been another one of those 14+ million possibilities that Doctor Strange saw and knew would end in defeat.
So leave Star Lord alone, what he did didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. Thanos had to get the gauntlet and do the snap so he could be defeated later. That is the 1 possibility that ends in victory.
Eat your heart out Empire Strikes Back.
I just want to say, no blockbuster movie I've ever seen has ever had the balls to end like this. So dim and dark and depressing. Imagine there was an economic meltdown or major disaster and Marvel/Disney/Hollywood had to cease production on a sequel, and this is the note the MCU ended on... Sheesh.
And I 100% ate that **** up. Such an interesting thing to see. MY god did I love this film. I'll probably see it a few more times just this week. Every scene and every character interaction was something I was just extremely stoked on. There were imperfect jokes here and there, but nothing I'd consider even distracting.
Doctor Strange is probably my favorite and he was possibly the best-utilized. Good news for me considering I'd like to see 10 Doctor Strange films before this Marvel train ends.
Thor has never resonated majorly with me and he just blew me away the whole movie. His feats of strength are starting to really wow me, especially considering how blase he was in Thor 1.
Iron Man's arc from previous films continues in this and still manages to be emotionally captivating.
Captain America still stands strong as a beacon of morality and determination that everyone else has to strive to meet.
Spider-Man has successfully donned the mantle of "Stark's protege" and when RDJ is done I am more and more confident Holland could fill his shoes.
Black Panther facilitated the heroics of this entire film. Wakanda did more to protect earth than any single avenger (beside maybe Thor or Wanda's sacrifice).
Wanda and Vision's love felt real for the first time and I enjoyed watching it. And I think it can continue in future films successfully if they choose to do so.
And at times this film still kinda felt like a Guardians of the Galaxy film (and i mean that as a compliment).
Hulk kinda served his purpose, but hopefully he gets more time to shine in the sequel. And perhaps Widow, Falcon, Bucky (and of course Hawkeye) were under utilized, but I mostly understand why in each case.
And there was a childhood joy in all of it, even the edge of my seat or emotionally taxing stuff. Right up until it faded to black after Nick Fury's pager.
Way to go Marvel. Please keep wowwing me. I love this ****.
Now is the perfect time for Hawkeye to become Ronin. Its sad, but take away his wife and kids. Ronin means a masterless samurai, which are essentially lost souls wandering looking for a cause. It would fit perfectly.
I disagree. I think they tried to make the stakes very high in this movie and capitalize with the finger snap thing. Thanos wiping out half of the universe was the thing to avoid and it happened. Problem is that it was not believable.
Sure, a main Avenger might die in the next film, but I'm not talking about the next film.
We don't know which one.
What if one of the heroes gets the gauntlet in Avengers 4 and tries to do a reverse finger snap but ends up killing the remaining other half of the universe instead?
Sure for us fans it's not believable as we know that most of the characters killed from the snap are going to get a sequel. But remember that the majority of GA probably don't know a thing about those sequel so the snap thing might be more believable and impactful for them
I still wish they'd somehow bring back Quicksilver in A4. I want the siblings reunited.
They could bring him back and then as he runs, he disintegrates. That would really be leaving a trail of dust in his wake.

Just out of curiosity, who else either teared-up a little or flat-out cried (I sure as shoot did) when Spider-Man grabbed IM and faded away while delivering his dialogue? That was rough.
movie was Great 9.5 out 10 for me the -5 is for giving Thor his eye back didn't care for that
