I wonder how many more MCU films the Russos have in them ? I think they successfully intergrated a lot of the characterisation of Thor, from Ragnarok, and the humour of GOTG into IW - which blended really well.

IMO the Russos should do a Vision/scarlet witch film, as they seem to really get those characters. ( btw, dude have you reconsidered SW's power tier? She has some big feats in IW, even holding off Thanos and destroying the mind gem).

Cheers

We're gonna wait until we've seen the movie to do that.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the Russos are done with making MCU film's after A4.

They’ve earned it. Marvel was fortuitous in getting them just at the right time.

Just finished watching it. Great movie all in all, and by far better than Age of Ultron! Sometimes there are too many jokes, but it‘s thankfully not as funny as Thor Ragnarok. There are some awesome moments, although I would have preferred some fighting scenes a little longer and more intense though some were definitely intense. Also, some characters could have been portrayed a little different, but that’s only my feeling. I think the Russos did their best to satisfy as many fans as possible, which somehow is impossible, because we all have different favourites... Great ending whose state will obviously not remain like that, but it‘s very impactful to my mind. And it makes me curious how the next part next year will conclude the Thanos storyline.

hi anyone care to explain how thanos turned everyone into dusts please? i'm a bit lost here :(

Russos doing a Vision/SW film would be a dream. With regards to power level, I think IW confirms that SW has to be on the level of Thor as the highest tier in the MCU. Definietly a glass cannon but her feats are absolutely top tier now

Thor tries to kill Thanos and gets a good hit in. But then Thanos snaps his fingers and then dissapears through a space stone portal. Shortly after, people start turning to dust. It's basically a visual potrayal of what Thanos did, he instantly killed 50% of life in the universe at random (though somehow of course the orginal avengers survive. haha)

With the finger snap (delayed reaction, everyone going one at a time) once he had all the stones.

Am I the only one here bursted out laughing when Rabbit gives Thor an eye and mentions that he had to put it in his dick in order to steal it ? It was intercepted right before Rabbit said "Dick" so all the audiences kept a straight face except me. I just completly lost it and everyone was looking at me as if I'm a psychopath LOL

Didn’t notice that! Lol

Ye and that one moment in the mid credit where Fury almost blurted out that famous "motherfkr" line of his. Seems like i was the only one who noticed that line in my cinema lol

So... I know the Russo’s said Thanos relationship with death isn’t in this film, but at the end when he’s talking to kid Gamora, was that a manifestation of Death?! I kind of took it to be the way their conversation went.

On a second note: ****ing fantastic film.

ah thanks - and here i thought he went back in time to get his planet back and everyone turn to ashes is the major butterfly effects aftermath

I legit thought it was Death.

Oh everyone seemed to notice that in mine. :woot:

First post in AAAAAAAAAAGES... But god damn that was a special movie. I'm not gonna repeat a lot of the same things everyone else has, except I don't think I've ever gone into a movie with so much excitement and anxiety mixed together, and I've never left a film feeling so totally and utterly floored.

What a time to be alive!

Okay, physically she's just human, and lacks natural durability like Hulk or Thor BUT she was amazing at using her powers to deflect attacks and impacts - sort of a force field that worked against falls and other weapons.

Her powers worked against Glaive and Midnight who had weapons which could deflect Vision's mind gem blasts.

As such Im not sure she's a quite glass cannon.

Also the Russos never use her telepathy or mind control powers.

Regarding your last point, I've found it weird that they never use her mind control abilities. I would have loved to see her go inside Thanos' head, to reveal a bit more back story and intent.

None of that mitigates any of the glass in her cannon though. ;) It makes her harder to hit but when hit the glass will shatter. The same as hiding or disguising a glass makes it harder to hit but the effect will be the same when you find it. She could still get shot in her sleep by a kid with a gun while many other characters have a level of persistent durability for all situations that makes them plastic, rock or adamantium cannons rather than glass.
