okay the only HP movie to make over 300 mil is the 1st one (317mil)...since then the movies have all decreased in b/o numbers (except the 4th which had a minimal increase but not much)...so why do u think the 5th will make 300 or over...logically it will do between 200 and 250 mil...(Harry Potter does better business overseas anyway)

I mean, in 2004 Spidey and Shrek KICKED Harry Potter's ass in box office...

Why is this summer so "special" for HP?

Well AWE and Spidy 3 are both going to be fast paced and have alot of action.

Yes, but will people be disappointed if Venom doesnt fight?

It's been confirmed that Venom is in a fight at the end of the film... in the battle royal, which also includes Sandman and GGII.

Think TAS type fight scene between the two- but a MILLION times cooler!!!

(I just watched TAS Venom episodes again, and they had a construction site looking area that reminded me of the type of fight location SM3 will have)

And it's a cool 'round circle' for Raimi - more or less starting Spidey with Dark Man (no doubt one of the films that got him the job) which had a fight in a large construction area... now SM3.

So to answer your question- NO, because Venom DOES fight...

Unless you mean, "unless some fans are disappointed by the fight"

oh, oops, I appologize. I read that all that we would see is Eric becoming Venom and we would pretty much wait for the fourth film.

Awsome, Should be amazing battles in AWE and Spiderman.

Well I think Spiderman's release date is great but I think AWE has just a tad better one. Memorial Day weekend we'll be freakin huge.

Also what about school? Spiderman doesnt get to cash in with kids because alot are still in school. (I dont mean they wont see the film, because they will atleast once if not twice) But, AWE and shrek 3 both hit when kids are getting out or are almost getting out. So imo, Those mondays and tuesdays will be better for AWE because kids will be out of school. (again, Im talking 3 weeks after the film is released because I know the first week and secont week all three films will be sold out, through the week.)
