Has anybody ever put David Duchovny out there for Dent? Not that I have an opinion one way or another, I just saw a pic of Gillian Anderson earlier and started thinking about it.....I don't have a clue at this point who else could be out there for the part.

I've never seen any of Jake Gyllenhal's movies, so I have no opinion of his acting abilities. IMO though his face is too teenager-ish....too yound looking for Harvey Dent.
