Didn't you have to blow 3 different walls? That's what I did for one of the challanges.
As long as you use 2 gels on that one ceiling and 1 gel on another, it works.

I thought you had to use 3 differents walls as well. Maybe thats a bug in the game? Will have to try this when I get home tonight.

Thats the only predator medal I havent gotten so far. And it sucks that the medals you get from the new DLC challenges dont count towards your total count for the acheivements

I tried it once by just putting one gel on the ceiling and another thinking that you just needed to take out 3 people and it didn't work. As soon as I put two gels on the ceiling and one on the other wall it did.

Also, I suck at combat challenges.

for me those took a lot of time and practice. I'm still not that great at them. The only one I've gotten all 3 medals on is the first one, the others I've just got the one medal. I tend to button mash a bit too much and it always kills my combos.

This was me, I was thinking I needed three different walls in seperate places so I kept attempting to coordinate them stepping on the breakable floor panels...which never worked. :funny:

Yeah, that's how I was at first. I wanted to complete them so freakin' bad that once I started a combo I'd just move too fast and lose it every time. But timing is key. For instance, when I finally beat Shock and Awe on Extreme, I found out that after starting to beat down one or two goons, tap the quick batarang button and Bats will throw three. This gives you time to knock them out and beat the clock.

I was so happy that night. :awesome:

What I love about this game is, when your playing you not only feel like your batman, but you do things in it that almost make you forget batman is still human, you almost feel like he has powers but he doesn't.
Hard mode's a great cure for that. I had second thoughts about picking fights with more than 5 or 6 dudes at a time on hard because it's easy to be overwhelmed without the warnings. Reminds you that Batman's only human and, in spite of all his training, he can simply be outnumbered.

But...but...prep time? :(

Seriously though, I'm trying to do a bunch of the combat challenges just to get them out of the way. At some point soon I'll tackle hard mode....but it scares me a bit. :p

I really want to see a sequel with smoke bombs, disabling lights almost Splinter Cellish.

At first I didn't know that on hard mode the warnings were taken out, but I've learned to like it. Makes me alert.

Smoke bombs are a must. :awesome:

Considering it's doubtful that they'd go with Arkham yet again for the sequel, I think they should follow other stealth series which are level-based. Batman gets to explore the many different areas of Gotham, but it is still "secluded" albeit large.

Free-roam is out of the question, imo. I'd wager a great decrease in quality would happen if they try to focus on an open world. There's just too many things that would be unnecessary and a waste of space.

QFT

I wouldn't mind a building with hostages etc (Wayne Tower) with the degree of free roam being the immediate area around the building. It would be no less free roam than this game I feel.

It would give a great 'Die Hard' like element to what I think is a winning formula for a series of Batman games

I want the ability to knockout guards then have to stash their unconscious body.

More gadgets as well!

I hate that ****...it's time consuming and also frustrating when someone else sees you carrying, so you have to drop that one, knock that guy out and stash them both...Im good with just knocking them the hell out

Stashing the bodies is an interesting idea. The Wayne Tower idea is especially good. I can just picture climbing up the outside of the building and crawling through ducts.

I'd go for it being set in Wayne Tower and maybe doing the first level as Bruce...no suit or gadgets or anything, and you have to get to your office or something

Or he's hosting a business party in which the one's attending later become hostages, etc.

That would be cool. Iv never been one to ask for the ability to play as a heros "day time" persona as i think its unnecessary, but that would be really cool. If the game starts out like that. A siege on Wayne Tower and you having to make you way to the nearest Bat Cave entrance.

smoke would be dope. As would getting to hit the lights out with your batarang like in Batman Begins.

Yea thatd be bad ass. Itd be awesome if you could kill the lights and then the thugs could have like flares or flashlights. Imagine, killing the lights, dropping down behind a thug in a pitch black room then he cracks a flare, only to reveal the freaking Batman standing right behind him. Thatd be bad ass.

No thanks. I don't want to play as Bruce Wayne in a Batman game.
