Are there new achievements with these downloadable maps, because if there are...I guess that's something if you're an achievy ****e.

Does OCD have to be treated though?
I don't think achievements or trophies are needed for the DLC, really.
So just to clarify - this DLC isn't available on PC, and as far as I know there are no plans to release it on PC. It is only available on PS3 in the US but is available for PS3 and 360 in Europe.Eidos Interactive today announced the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack, a new downloadable map pack offering two additional Challenge Maps for the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum™ action adventure title. The new content will be available beginning September 24th as a free download on PlayStation®Network and Xbox® LIVE Marketplace.
In the ‘Heart of Darkness’ FreeFlow™ Combat map, players will battle a mob of relentless and maniacal enemies at the Arkham Pumping Station. Even the most seasoned Batman: Arkham Asylum player will enjoy stepping into the boots of BATMAN to take down increasingly difficult waves of insane inmates. In the ‘Hothouse Prey’ Invisible Predator™ map, players will have to rely on their Predator instincts to silently and effectively take down enemies at the Abandoned Glasshouse.
In Batman: Arkham Asylum, developed by Rocksteady Studios and based on DC Comics’s Batman license, the DARK KNIGHT takes on his greatest challenge yet when he becomes trapped with all of his most dangerous villains inside the insane asylum of GOTHAM CITY - ARKHAM ASYLUM! Since its release on August 25th, Batman: Arkham Asylum has garnered the acclaim of gamers and critics alike, achieving an average score of 92 from reviews around the world*, earning it a Guinness World Record for ‘Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever.’

Okay, great, so I can't download it on 360 because I'm in the US?
it says September 24th for the 360 which is tomorrow
The new DLC is up, on Xbox LIVE! It's called Prey in the Darkness and the locations are the Arkham Pumping Station and the Abandoned Glasshouse. Like the previous map pack, it's free for Gold members. I'm downloading now, but I won't be able to try the maps until a couple of hours later.
I didn't check for new achievements, but I assume there aren't any because the previous pack didn't have any either.
The combat challenge map requires 50000 score for the 3 medals. It's one big room and the floor is the same as the one in the Shock and Awe challenge map. The floors become electric, but only a row or 2 (only the outside rows, if I remember correctly, not any in the middle) and not for long. I didn't have any problems with it. The thugs are the same as in most of the other challenge maps (regular, with knives, pipes, etc) and at the final round there's also a titan. I only played it once and without trying to get all the medals, I got about 42000 points. Seemed like an easy challenge map.
The predator challenge map, which I did not play (I just wanted to see the requirements for the medals), wants you to take out the red guy first (you had to take him out last in the previous DLC map), punch 3 different armed thugs and complete the challenge without taking damage.
Are you in the U.S. or UK?
I have a UK account (I'm from Greece). Keir, the Eidos guy at the official forums, said that the map is exclusive to the PS3, in the US and that he'd try to get official word on why.
