Man, I'm stuck at the part where Poison Ivy's plant is blocking the Arkham Mansion entrance. What the hell?!

Yeah. Took him out a while ago though. Now there's just that plant in the way. I looked all around the building, couldn't find an alternate route. Then I took out all those little plants that shoot you....now I don't know what the hell to do.

You just need to get on one of the lookout platforms and zip line your way over.

HAHA. I was ******ed. The vent is right above that platform. Damn. I can't believe I missed that.

Now I have to navigate through this red poison though. Man.....

EDIT: How did you guys get past the part where Joker's goons planted explosives on the gorgoyles?

My CE from Game.co.uk just arrived! The EU CE is a little disappointing. The game case (which isn't really a case), the journal and the batarang (even though it looks cool from a distance). Oh well...I payed 5 euros more from what the regular edition costs here, so I guess it's not that bad.

Anyway...I'm going to start playing now! I'm just going to download the Crime Alley and Dem Bones challenge maps first.

Or at least some kind of Fire Batarang.

Its the fire ball things coming at me that I mostly get hit from, the plants and the men I can get by, I had another go this morning died still

My tips, only dodge in one direction, dodging back and forth is bound to get you hit. Quickly tap the batarang, don't aim. Use your grabble to get thugs to you, so you don't jump on a thug while the plants are coming out of the ground.

Just hit the jump button and jump around all the time...

Well they have it for the Darksiders game that mark Hamill is also in. I think it's called a cross blade it's an "X" like bladed boomer rang which if you throw at fire it'll also burn your enemies once you do that and there was that dark sector game that had it for the main characters glave so bat man should be able to create flaming batarang like that.

maybe they don't want to be seen as unoriginal with it though. some one (company wise)has beaten them to it.

I loved the level with Scarecrow involving little Bruce Wayne. Great stuff.

Also, the last time I lost there was something about most gadgets having an Action Cameram mentioned on the hints and tips loading screen. How do you activate it?

On PS3, when you aim with L1, but shoot/throw with R2, you'll get a different view. Same with doing a glide kick while holding R2.

How does the grapple work? Is it like BB where you can only fire it at certain things, or do you have more control over it? If so, is it easy to aim or auto aim. Is there a quick zip where you don't aim where it just shoots straight up?

There's an icon that appears in which it tells you where you can grapple and you get there pretty quickly depending on the distance (like air vents or the roof of the Arkham mansion). You can also get up fast after shooting it, or hang on the side of whatever you're grappling on.

anything with a protruding ledge...you'll actually see a prompt if you can grapple to it....no quick zip though

Yeah, Poison Ivy is definitely the most difficult boss. Took me about 12 tries to get that done.

Just have to try to jump out of the way whenever she throws those pink balls at you.

I would just run and throw batarangs....she shoots 3 balls and then opens up the little canopy...so count 3, stop and throw
