make sure you use the quick batarang too when fighting ivy.

Haven't used the quick batarang much yet, What's the best way to make sure you hit your target as it seems you can't really aim (at least in the usual sense). It seems to me the batarang goes right for the center of the screen, is it simply a matter of making sure your target is centered in the middle of the screen? How exactly does this work ? (as far as aiming the quick batarang goes)

It usually hits whatever is most threatening, what's at the center of the screen, or what's closest in the general direction that you aim at...Like, in a challenge, I sometimes will be surrounded by enemies. One of them will go for the gun cabinet and I can tap a quick batarang in just a GENERAL direction and it will always hit that enemy trying to get a gun. It's the same when you're fighting one of those Titan creatures while being surrounded by enemies. If the Titan starts running and you throw a batarang, no matter what other enemies are there, it should always hit the Titan, even if it's not even closer to you than any other enemies.

I reached number 28 on the Semer Bat challenge map yeah-yay and I'm coming for that number one spot.

So I picked up this game 2 days ago after reading rave reviews and having my friend chirp in my ear about how great it was... and she was right!!! I love prowling above the thugs, only to swoop down and grab them. Also, I love when the rest of the guys in the room come and investigate, only to have the guy flailing above them fall on top of them after I throw a batarang. I just beat the Bane part last night.

I just finished it. Awesome game. 71% complete with 123, of the 240, riddles found/solved. I got
the after credits scene with Scarecrow
. I'll probably try to find/solve all the riddles now and maybe try a few challenge maps and then I'll play the story again, on the hard difficulty.

Just beat the game a couple hours ago. Can't wait to the next one....

Two Face

stupid question here. Only have had time to play about 8% of the game so far. How do the challenge maps work? Do you have to unlock them? Dl them? Both? Can you do them at any time once you have them? Or only after you've beaten the game?

You'll unlock them on certain Riddler challenges. If you check the screen that shows your challenges for each room it'll show a little key next to the trophy which shows you that those will unlock something for you and yes once you get the challenge rooms you can do them whenever you want

I've beaten the game and I'm still unlocking map challanges so yes you have to unlock them. I haven't completed any of them yet I'm still trying to find all the riddles.

I got another after credit scene I guess.

Croc jumping out of the water and snatching the Titan box

And I'm doing the exact same thing. I'm going to complete everything and get the %100 trophy and start a new game on hard.

What do people recommend upgrading first? I've done combos, takedowns, armour but which gadget upgrades are better/more important?

The armour upgrades were what I did first so I had more health.

The proximity mine upgrade for the explosive gel is a good buy. The remote control batarang is kind of nifty. I'd also get the sonic batarang when it becomes available. Also if you're planning to do all the Riddler bits you'll need the range upgrade on your hacking tool.

What about the paired batarangs? They any good??

They're okay, the next upgrade to 3 batarangs make them useful since you'll often run into small patrols of 3 goons and if you get the increase for batarang stun time you can basically drop them with takedowns before they ever have a chance.

I got the hacking tool immediately also so I could get an early start finding all the riddles.

Inverted takedown is the coolest thing, but I always got spotted by other thugs because the thug screams.

Me too. Man I love this game. The Scarecrow levels are brilliant, very like Nightmare On Elm Street!

Can I start a new game on hard and keep my other Normal game that is 95% complete?
