Batman: Arkham Asylum

No thanks. I don't want to play as Bruce Wayne in a Batman game.

This brings to mind BB the game, where you play as Bruce for one level, where Ra's Goons infiltrate Wayne Manor and you have to fend them off. Fairly bland and not too enjoyable. Best parts of that game were the Tumbler side missions.

Also it is madetory that there be a batmobile level and batjet flying level. You can't just have both of them in the 1st game only during important cut-scenes and not let you use them in the sequel.

Yuck. Thats the last thing they need. Keep the story focused on Batman. The game needs to be as similar to Arkham Asylum as possible. Its the first time we've had a stellar Batman game, no need to muck with it.

Sounds like a good idea if the first ten minutes is Bruce Wayne getting dropped by a limo then walking up to his office and thereby doing his greetings with Wayne Tower staff. Much like the beginning of AA you'll see a lot of people who become important later in the game.

As far as the rest of the Gotham Knights I'd enjoy it if they had cameo's but as long as it called Batman:fill in the blanks it should be about Batman.

I have an idea for a Batman multiplayer mode
Batman & Robbers-basic idea thugs rob something Batman catches the crooks sounds like fun espically if you get choose which vehicle you use.Only one Batman which is picked by random in a session. The crooks wouldn't be limited to vehicles either.

You have to build upon the first game. A batmobile level if done right could be fun as hell and give you a nice change of pace from just seneaking around through airvents or throwing batarangs at Croc. We've never had an awesome vehicle sequence in a batman game either. But then...

Batman kinda "flooded" the Batmobile thanks to Bane

As far as playing as other characters I can see why that's a bad idea and would take the focus away from Batman.

I tried it once by just putting one gel on the ceiling and another thinking that you just needed to take out 3 people and it didn't work. As soon as I put two gels on the ceiling and one on the other wall it did.

I tried the two gels on one ceiling thing last night but it didnt work. However I was able to finally get the medal because I sat on a perch for 15 minutes and observed the thug patterns without ever taking any of them out.

Basically when you start the level, run across the hall to the room with the broken jail cell in it and drop down into the floor grate, from their move in the grate so that you go under a solid wall, and pop up in a little chamber thats sectioned off all by itself. Get up on top of the higher part of the room and look up at the ceiling, and you'll see the break away floor, etc. Spray your gel on it.

Now get back up to the top of the main room, and spray the gel on the wall behind the guard who's always hanging out in fron of the breakable wall. The you zipline over to the other side of the room and gel the celing of the other room. Hang out up there and wait a few seconds and you'll have a guard within range of each of the gels, and detonate. Then you can just go and pick off the other guards with the zip line thru the window and the glide kick and complete the challenge.

Yes and yes. I killed 3 guards with the two walls. Two of whcih were under the ceiling that collapsed

Huh. Worked for me.

I line launched into that room (1st medal) then knocked him out.
Jumped on top of the room then his alarm alerted other guards. Put 2 gels on the ceiling and line launched to the other side where the breakable wall was and put a gel there. I grappled to the top of the wall and saw 3 guards checking it out. Exploded the gels. 4 guards (3 guards, ceiling & 1 guard, wall) were taken out in total. (2nd medal)
Then on top of the wall I waited to glide kick the final guard. (3rd medal)

Maybe it was a glitch that was fixed?

I'd go for it being set in Wayne Tower and maybe doing the first level as Bruce...no suit or gadgets or anything, and you have to get to your office or something

That would be cool. Iv never been one to ask for the ability to play as a heros "day time" persona as i think its unnecessary, but that would be really cool. If the game starts out like that. A siege on Wayne Tower and you having to make you way to the nearest Bat Cave entrance.

maybe. but the medal requirement does say "take out 3 guards with 3 different walls"

the funny thing is the first time i pulled off the medal doing it my way, I took out 5 guards with the 3 walls but then realized I didnt have enough left to complete the other two challenges so I had to start over.

Predator Gold for me

Now I just need to work on my awful combat challenge skills and get more than a bronze. : Shock & Awe Extreme, I always medal in but then die a horrible death before it's all over so I never get credit.

thats pretty wild. I did the same exact thing and didnt get the medal for it.

I believe that it's an issue with the particle generator and the physics engine of the game. Sometimes, depending entirely on where you spray the gel, only a portion of the wall actually gets blown up, leaving shards and fragments behind. The second area that has been sprayed then detonates, clearing out whatever was left.

That is odd. It should say "take out 3 guards with 3 different walls...or 2 we can't remember"

One time I punched directly through a wall and took out my last thug I couldn't even see. Pretty funny glitch.
