I hope so, but I have little faith in today's money grabbing DLC world. The more negative I am the happier I'll be when I'm wrong.

DLC can be cool, but some of the smallest things are just dumb. Paying money for skins sucks. I bought a head in Borderlands 2 (I thought I was getting four heads and four skins) and I was mad when I only got one. Such simple things they clearly have ready before the game ships just needs to be a given.

Entire campaign missions months later? Okay, that I understand. But I want Earth 2 and Azrael unlockable, dammit, and don't make it super hard to do so!

Not neccesarily, those images are from the MP beta, that's not the SP. I'd assume some of those skins will be unlockable(as they are just reused from AC), but there's going to be PLENTY of dlc and preorder/CE skins.

Yes please, if Catwoman is in the game a Pfeiffer skin would be fantastic as well. Although I don't see her being playable like Arkham City...

Quick question for fans of the series.

Seeing as Arleen Sorkin has now retired as the voice of Harley Quinn... and Tara Strong has seemingly got the gig as her permanent replacement, are you happy with Strong?

I would have absolutely given it to Hynden Walch over Strong. Especially after hearing her as Yo-Yo in JL: The Flashpoint Paradox.

She is the perfect successor... Strong does her best but comes across much too whiny.

The rise in products centered around the 89 suit seems to be growing. Hot Toys did a figure, NECA is doing one, and even Mattel is working on 4-inch figure. I think that the possibility for a 89 skin might be more possible than before.The license/likeness is getting around.

So it looks like, judging from those pictures of the costume list, that all the skins from arkham city will be in the game and then the new skins will be DLC/Pre-orders. Also guys, Eric Holmes said on Twitter that Robin is Grayson so you can stop arguing about it.

I've just realised how little of the map we have actually seen and how little we have seen in general. We've pretty only seen the same bits over and over again. I really hope they keep it to a minimum.

Do we know what the situation on ordinary citizens yet? I think that will be the hardest thing to swallow for me that there will be no one on the streets on christmas eve. It would definitely change it up a little.

I think thats their explanation why there are no citizens on the streets. They are all at home for the holiday.

You're right. The demos shown at E3 and SDCC had a very specific flightpath: http://i44.tinypic.com/2lbdfsg.jpg Also, I think that during the demo, certain areas seemed to be locked out. From the few clips of the SDCC demo I've seen, even when players had a chance to free-roam, Burnley appeared to be walled off. I could be totally wrong, though. I've heard reports of players travelling to Old Gotham, however.

I think one of developers has said that the city will have regular people on the streets other than the criminals.

If I remember correctly I thought they said the reason there's nobody on the streets is because they're all inside due to the massive snow storm hitting the city.

Ah yes I remember the snow storm thing and someone saying it was due to the holiday. The snowstorm thing could possibly work but I just don't believe that everyone would be inside for the holiday especially when helicopters and exlposions and stuff are going off.

It's a nitpick but a valid one I feel.

Plus, with the whole assassin subplot it also evokes the Westerns: namely, the empty main street at noon, when the lawman (Batman, instead of Gary Cooper,) facing off with the assassins

Agreed. The streets are empty in Batman Returns as well, which I didn't have a problem with. A soulless, empty and frozen wasteland with little hope. Expressionism and all that. I can just imagine people looking through their windows anxiously at night, watching the Batmobile go by and such. You go out there, nobody is going to help you - except one man. And he has a fearsome reputation, especially at this point of the Arkhamverse.

The older skins from AC are probably for multiplayer. And the new skins are for single player.
