Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 4

I Am The Night mode sounds awesome. After conquering Arkham Asylum and City, I look forward to an additional challenge that will really make those who complete it feel like the God Damn Batman!

I barely spend 5 hours playing a game nowadays, let alone 12. That's rough.

12 hours isn't all that long. But it's all about how fun they make those 12 hours. Which looks to be no issue.

just in case you missed it I posted this under that article on the upcoming Dlc

And although I wasn't able to post the Vic's basement podcast here with senior Ben Mattes (though they seem call him matters here.) Any way here's an interview with him from GT

so so people don't have head back any way.

I'm slightly upset that it's only 12 hours long...

I know that may sound weird but for a free roam game WITH side missions to just make 12 hours is not that long. I'm not expecting GTA times here but I think to say that EVERYTHING can be done in 12 hours isn't that great.

The main issue I've had with Asylum and City is that they both felt short and there stories don't do much. And I'm not a gamer or anything and I do other things besides play games. I love these games but I was hoping this would be different but it doesn't seem like it.

I always find issue with the estimated game hour times. Sefton Hill provided a very padded estimate of AC''s time, whereas in reality, it was quite accurate. If anything, I suspect this is a more accurate estimate.

The game could be 5 hours long. As long as it has great replay value, it doesn't matter.

Batman: Arkham Origins Initiation DLC, I Am The Night mode detailed

Batman: Arkham Origins' Initiation DLC will explore Bruce Wayne's journey to be a ninja before he became a bat, producer Guillaume Voghel told Eurogamer at this week's Eurogamer Expo.

Initiation will follow Bruce's efforts to prove himself to Kirigi, the ninja that taught ninjitsu to both Bruce and his enemy Ra's al Ghul's League of Assassins. Initiation will be the first event within the Arkham series to use a setting outside of Gotham.

Arkham Origins will also feature I Am The Night, a difficulty mode that unlocks after players complete New Game+. I Am The Night will not allow saves and limits Batman to just one life. Considering Voghel said that Arkham Origins' "main narrative arc and side missions last about 12 hours," it sounds like players will need to conduct a crime-fighting marathon to overcome I Am The Night.

Whoa, I am the Knight sounds awesome

So you'd have to beat all 12 hours in one sitting without dying once?

That's insane. One of the most extreme challenges I've ever seen in a game.

By the sounds of that, I probably won't even bother. The game plus thing was enough for me!

Yeah I'd just dedicate a day towards it. Sounds awesome.

And then you die at the last boss and have to do it all over again.

I planned on going all out with this game the day it was announced - so the "I Am The Night" challenge just adds to that. Bring it. :awesome:

Also really looking forward to that Initiation DLC. Sounds awesome.

Was it announced if the 2 story dlcs will be for the Wii u too

And then you die at the last boss and have to do it all over again.
Heh, yes. It would be soul destroying. I gave the AC Joker challenge map arena a go - where you have to survive and bank your massive combo, a few chances, but still haven't passed it.

It's likely to show up there the only thing the Wii U will be missing is the mp. Which half the fan base seem fine with since they're still those screaming it's taking away from more story DLC etc, when they make a comment so.....

anyone know where the collector's edition is still available? Gamestop, Best Buy, and Amazon don't have it available anymore :csad:
