I got the online pass but the are still charging me for the initiation, what am I to do?
wAIT WHAT? that makes no sense. Ok if you have the seasons pass, just input the code as the instructions tell you to do and then do what the poster GekigangerV just instructed the last son to do.

if that's the case it should be availabe for you to download . and I don't think they said there was dead line for you to do so for the pass holders. unless that was the case and it supposed the second.which they didn't state.

You did do it yesterday right ? I mean trying to down load it. You better check in with their support then.

Did you get yours from the store or in-game store?

I got it from the store. but it shouldn't matter.

I just checked the store in eu and it doesn't look updated yet. It's when I went to the in-game store that I saw it and it shows a charge of 6.99, I thought it will say free cause of my season pass. I will just wait small and see.

Go to challenge mode, pick Bruce Wayne, go to campaign maps then choose Initiation under the downloaded maps.

You can play the campaign as Batman and Deathstroke, but will only get the story scenes if you pick Bruce.

If you are having problem like I was figuring out how to play Initiation follow this users advice. It works. Thanks for helping.

I downloaded it from the In Game WB store in the menus of the titles screen for the game.

Really? I see, I have to call support and see whats wrong

EDIT: I just went to the support site and it looks like I am not the only one it's not working for.

EDIT: I wrote to them via support on their website and it's now fixed.

It's available for free and I am downloading it now.

So, yeah. The only way you'll get any dialogue or see the context of the training is by launching it in challenge campaign.

Pretty interesting to see that enemy types and aggression is different as well, if you play the maps on campaign or just the maps separate. Round One, of the first combat map, outside of the campaign challenge has the ninjas tossing chairs at you from the start. I think Round 2 already had shield enemies and knife wielding ninjas.

Funniest thing, so far, has got to be a ninja telling Bruce (during the combat map) "Get out of town, Pilgrim". The outdated reference seems appropriate.

So, is Shiva ever explained as in why is she there? Is her boss fight harder than in the side mission of the game?

No her presences is not address she just appears as the final boss, Her boss fight here is way more intense than the side mission especially since ninja keep popping up during the confrontation and there's no counter sense to block her attacks.

I think one can assume that she's probably Master Kirigi's highest ranking student. His monastery is supposed to be almost mythical, with most believing his order to just be a legend. Could make sense if he had trained her at one time in the Arkham fiction.

The League of (Shadows) Assassins just outsourcing some training, I guess.

Bruce doesn't even speak.

Yea, very disappointing. Best part about it though was the challenge. This was definitely the hardest fights of the game and takes a little more skill.

Is this an actual story DLC (with cut scenes and stuff like that) or is this a challenge map thing?

Agreed, such a missed opportunity. This should have been a story campaign with free roam, Not a Challenge map.

There is a bit of narrative and there are cut scenes from the master who trains you and the ninja's there. But it only happens if you have the two new Bruce Wayne skins that come with this DLC on you. That's when you will you see them.

Also Bruce doesn't talk that much in this. But truth be told serious Bruce isn't really much of a talker un less he has to in a way( like when he's in play boy mode) other wise he's short and concise and to the point. well older Bruce Wayne/ bat man is Anyway. So you were forwarned.

This DLC is reminds me of the Batman Begins: Video game training.

The Arkham games are in another level, but I really liked Batman Begins.

Agreed, However you have to admit Batman Begins plays a big part as the archetype of this franchise, the gameplay is obviously refined gaming machanic but the core machanic are the same. The Batman Begins videogame was the first next gen at the time before Arkham Asylum that made you feel like Batman.

From what I have gathered through out the game and this DLC I think this is a prelude to the upcoming new campaign within the game. Lady Shiva said to Batman in the main game that the master has plans for you, with the DLC we see the master (it could be Ra's-al ghul maybe or both we will see).

And since this game is a prequel it is more than likely this is it as the master comes to Gotham, this is where Batman might also meet Talia that would be interesting to see why he fell in love with her but can't join the League of Assassins.

The Master is definitely Ra's Al Ghul , the data auto files prove that. (Shiva) (Bane)
