I don't trust that he won't suck now.
What do you mean?Doesnt look like they are now.
we still have folks who can't comprehend how an actor can transform themselves. Or that acting means more than looks most of the time. But compared to 1988, or even 2008, we have a much better understanding.
keaton was a fantastic actor that had an intensity. I like that guy, but only in comedic roles as the comic relief character. That's probably the worst suggestion i've seen in years, no offense.
Because he's wrong for the role. Just like Michael Cera is wrong for Two Face.
Doesnt look like they are now.
Or now apparently!
Edit: David beat me to the burn.![]()
Because he's wrong for the role. Just like Michael Cera is wrong for Two Face. He'll never be asked to audition so you don't have to worry about it lol.
I can also pick any comedic actor and present him as an option for Batman. Doesn't mean he's right for the role just because he's outside of the box. Can't believe anyone is comparing Keaton's eyes and intensity to that dude. That's like saying Heath nailed it and he was outside of the box! So why can't Jeremy Renner play the Joker? Cuz he's wrong for the role.
You can't just pick any actor and say he can do it because it's an outside of the box pick.
Off of another site the actors in the running for Bruce Wayne/Batman should Ben Affleck bail on the role:
1- Jake Gyllenhaal
2- Colin Farrell
3- Jon Hamm
4- Armie Hammer
5- Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Well out of this list the only 3 that make sense to replace Affleck definitely are Gyllenhaal, Hammer and Farrell
