Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Pandya been overestimating every time for this movie? Feels like it
So far I think they been over with all BVS weekend estimates, with 'should pass' projections being days off the mark.

I think BvS just hits 900 million. That's plenty good especially considering there are a lot of people that reviewed the film lower and pushed a narrative of its quality. The WOM no out killed some of the success.

Right. Never forget the 170M lol. Should pass x amount by this weekend. And now we had should pass 300 by this weekend lol. They keep falling flat on their faces these BO experts

Well you are to going to like this then:

I'm thinking closer to 816-836M

Revising my estimates for the fifth time on how much BvS will make over the next 4 months domestically:

Week 1: $209 million prediction 207
Week 2: $(64.2 actual) prediction: 75 million (-64%)
Week 3: $25.78 previous 30.00 million (-60%)
Week 4: $7.7 million (-70%) *The Jungle Book is uncaged*
Week 5: $3.85 million (-50%)
Week 6: $1.93 million. (-50%)
Week 7: $1 million (-75%) *Captain America: Civil War is deployed*
Weeks 8-16: $3 million

Grand Total: $316.46 domestic
+ 520 international (this one is tricky to predict. I'm going to give it a $20M cushion)
836.46 WW
They need to make 925M WW to make a profit according to Deadline

Adjusted for inflation, MOS domestic is 302 mill.

It's hard to imagine any film that need to make over 900 million to make a profit lol.

$34M intl wknd for #BatmanvSuperman, down 60%. Cume at $486.8M, $783.5M global, steady 62% from intl. Final going to about $900M.

Yea, I mean, how did they get 925 million when previous reports were 800 million. Seems like a weird jump, if someone could explain it. I get the budget and marketing plus how much of the percentage they actually get, but that massive jump seems off.

#Boxoffice race too close to call. #TheBoss reports $23.48M opening wknd, #BatmanvSuperman at $23.44M. Today's sales to decide #WhoWillWin.

Hi, I just joined. I've been lurking for the last couple of weeks, and have found this thread to be rather insightful when it comes to Batman v Superman's box office performance.

Quick question. Is there any chance of this still hitting 900 million?

Technically there's a chance anything happens.

But, no. It won't hit $900 mil.

I think the ceiling for the BO run and if Warner allows it to scrape ala the Titanic; $850 is probably the goal right now. Not sure if it can get there, though.

Probably not, it'll be lucky if it even gets past Zootopia

Gonna take a hit today with males after Jordan Speith choked on the last two holes last night.

It's just hard to imagine any films with even a 250 million budget needing to make 900 mil + in order to break even/profit.

Watch BvS wins Sunday to pull the win. Even though this is its third weekend and the boss a comedy starring Melissa normal opens at 25 million. People on here like to spin this and say BvS gets beaten by this movie is sad. It's its third weekend people, and that's with a movie hated by critics. I'm looking at the positive that BvS will be 800 million my Monday or Tuesday. We know BvS is a disappointment but don't try to spin it as no one likes BvS.

Leave your agenda at the door buddy. Facts are facts. But keep telling yourself that BvS wasn't "guaranteed" to top the box office until Civil War came out if it makes you feel better. This thing got busted down to second place by a critically panned $30 million dollar Melissa McCarthy movie written and directed by her husband. It's an embarrassment.

What's sad is BvS is struggling to make $25m on its 3rd weekend with light competition. People going to see a Melissa McCarthy movie on its OW are not people who would be going to see BvS in its 3rd weekend
