Not to mention, he ditched the guantlets...and the BEGINS guantlets are better than any seen in the comic/television/or movies...and they have a legitimate use. The BEGINS chest symbol owns that symbol as well. The BEGINS symbol is a form of the Batman: Year One symbol.

Where would Bale's ears be? He'd have to cut them off to fit inside that cowl.

Well, Bale has been known to go to extreme lengths to make himself fit the role...

my main problem with the begins suit; standing still he looks good, as in those first released photos of Bale on the white background. however, as soon as he's moving around on screen, he looks more like the stay pufft marshmallow man than batman. Sadly I've noticed a few people on here begin to change their tune about the suit, old gripes are now becoming "oh, I think the thick neck is cool", I dunno, it seems like settling to me

hmm... it looks ok, although personally i would've preferred the oval being added only in the last movie.

and as always, its best to wait till we get to see the actual suit. artists' rendition are almost always just 50% on how the costume finally turns out.

The picture itself is FANTASTIC. Prototypical comic book art, but the costume I'm not feeling in terms of live-action movies.

Not bad, but I still prefer The BEGINS suit . For one thing you can't see BATS in the dark because their no light on his suit, that you could see in a dark room . Now your desgin would be great for an Animated series version of BATMAN, similar to BTAS desgin, It would work prefectly .

Please don't ditch anything except the suggestions that are aimed to please other people.

I know a truly talented artist and you're one, so if you're ok with the suit you created, drop anything else. That suit is better than most I've ever seen, Begins included.

What's really funny is how jealous you are. And try to hide it behind some technical explanation. The cowl should probably be a little wider, like in Returns, but there's no need to be as wide as in B89 or balloony as in Begins.

This is a conceptual sketch about how it should look, not a photo about the final product and that is so obvious that your bashing attempts fail msierably.

Go (back?) to your drawing table and work on your own skills.

Leave the good artists like Wam alone.

Everything in that pic looks awesome, except for: You got to keep the BEGINS gauntlets...they are too cool to let go; the bat-thong looks pretty stupid, you should just keep the entire body one color; the yellow oval symbol has to be kept like how it was in BEGINS. It then seperates itself from the look of the previous franchise's suits. Besides that, the cape is perfect...Belt looks decent, except for the fact there is no pouches, the ears look awesome. Are those lenses?

I like it very much, too. The only change I would make would be to make the symbol into the Black bat, But I can live with that style of oval.

WTF, dude...enough with the insecruity. We're not just judging the picture...cause the picture is awesome. We are talking about THAT suit, as it pertains to the movie.

When you see it on a real person you will be even more impressed .

I know. It feels as a definitive suit and I love many Bat-suits. Almost all of them (from B89 till now) have something valuable.

I'm indifferent on this...the redesigns are cool, but the BB suit is awesome and it's been successfully "screen tested" if you will...i just wish we could accent the bat a bit more

Bah, there have been cowls done that look like this one - seemingly not allowing space for ears, but wearable nonetheless, without any bulges or un-neccessary thickness. Bale's cowl was wider than it needed to be.

I believe that as a work of art it is a fantastic unbelievable drawing, however in a live-action production like Begins, the Begins suit was perfect IMO.

I strongly disagree - I have seen this film many many many times and I have never seen any signs of "Puffy/Bulge/Round/etc". Batman Begins suit was fantastic and by far the best on screen.

Then if it's for different opinions, this guy made the best since he didn't just talk but made us to actually 'see' it.

It's a spare tire almost literally.
