Mystery/Thriller BBC's Sherlock

Tonight's episode was fun, though not as entertaining as the series opener. The scene where Watson's date was tied to the chair bugged me though. Why wouldn't she try to knock her chair over? It would have taken her out of the line of fire and logically it should have occurred to her after watching John do it.

I liked the part in the first ep where Sherlock points out that a habitual drunk's cell phone will have lots of wear and scratch marks around the recharge input plug from the fumbling to plug it in while drunk at night. I thought that was quite clever.

I growing quite fond of this series. I cant wait 'til they take a crack at "The Hound of the Baskervilles" :D (which they hopefully will do... sometime in the future...)

I'm really enjoying this. It's like watching mini movies. The acting is really good and they have completely captured the 'vibe' of London and are using it well. It's soo much better than the movie with Robert Downey Jr. This is Sherlock Holmes as he was meant to be, a great detective.

I liked the pretty Chinese girl. She needs to be in more stuff.

That was Mia from "Waters of Mars." I'm surprised at how many recycled actors I'm noticing on British programming, these days. The taxi driver from the first episode was the sooth-sayer with the stone arm from "Fires of Pompeii," you know.

I've always noticed people from other things in stuff. It's odd that I rarely notice it in American stuff cause I'd have thought it would happen a lot more than it does. Most actors are just out for the money so they'll take whatevers handed their way.

Thankyou Manic! That was starting to annoy me as I knew I'd seen him from something before!

Great second episode. As good as the first one. Maybe even a little better. Now bring on the third!

Third episode was awesome...

Really did not see the female Doc's date being moriarty... and he was damned interestingly played at the pool...

and the cliffhanger....:wow:

My only worry is that i was told after watching that there were only three episodes of this filmed... and that was that:huh: is this true or was my friend mistaken?

I LOVE this show.

P.S It would be cool if the BBC would make a James Bond series

What do you mean by
the female Doc's date being moriarty? But I did love the pool scene was spectacular!

Great finale!

I loved that Sherlock has a network of homeless people to collect data for him.

I found Moriarty to be kind of annoying with his odd way of speaking. It might have been intentional but it really distracted me from the scene.

I hope there are more episodes.

he was though.... he was posing as the Gay date to be able to taunt Holmes with later on...

I didn't like it, and switched over after a while. The success of the program rests on Holmes and Watson's interplay retaining charm and freshness. It began to get on my ****.

I hope for a better Christmas special, set in the Yorkshire Moors.

I loved the third episode. Well, all except for Moriarty's voice. Yeesh.

I watched this with a friend who pointed out the similarity between the actor playing Moriarty and Graham Norton. Despite that I thought it was brilliant.

I was trying to figure out where Moriarty's accent was from... Never found out.

He sounded like he was a combination of English, Irish, and Thurston Howell from Gilligan's Island.

It had some sparks of english as well. I just thought how awesome it would have been if instead of Holmes vs. Moriarty, Doctor vs. Master

Do all posh Irishmen sound borderline ******ed, or was it just the way the actor played him?
