BvS Ben Affleck IS Batman!! - Part 2

Hey, no need to pummel an actor. It's certainly not an easy thing that they do.

My worry with Affleck is that I've yet to see him truly becoming his character in a movie instead of just seeing Ben Affleck acting as _____ . Maybe this time will prove me wrong on that though.

Yeah, wanting to punch him had nothin to do with his acting. Just the way BA always came off and the vibe he brought was it. He has my support for Batman and believe he can pull it off. All he has to do, is prove it.

I think him and HC have the potential to look fantastic together. We'll see!

It almost seems that Affleck owns a piece of Warner Brothers

I think Ben should get the WB DC universe. Flash, WW and all besides BvS and JLA. As a creative overlord so to speak. He won't direct all those films of course.

I am more than fine with this. If he doesn't direct, he'll probably sign up good directors/ WRITERS for the various projects.

Honestly, I can care less about Justice League or if Snyder will direct it or Affleck, with him leading the pack of younger actors. I don't even want JLA anymore.

Im more excited at the idea of Batman vs Superman launching a new solo bat film where Affleck directs it. Im more excited for that than this BvS movie even.

I never even thought about Affleck as Batman but I don't have a problem with it. Sure he can do a job.

It'd be cool to see him get autonomy. I know WB won't do a DC Studios but if WF is huge and Ben is seen as the reason why maybe WB let's him take defacto control. With him in charge of JL and Flash and WW films and the rest I'd feel much more comfortable than with Snyder.

I'm sure he'll be given somewhat of a creative input. Especially since he, like Chris Nolan, is their golden boy and they'll let him make any movie he wants.

Even a Vs will surely just be a precursor to a team up, but agreed a team up is what I really want to see.

Great if WB can make use of his directing skills, be it a new solo Batman series or a JL.

He's certainly a better director, and can actually write.

I would like to see Zack do something like The Death and Return of Superman or something, but I feel like his films will have structural problems unless he has practice nailing the pacing aspect.

Haha fair enough. I do love Goldeneye and it has probably the most Fleming-esque Bond villain of them all (maybe next to Silva) even though it wasn't based on any Ian Fleming book/story.

Yeah, just a pet peeve of mine when people act nasty to those that are in the limelight regarding their acting or their looks. They're people too, and have to deal with media and all of the celebrity craziness on top of it. I personally save the hate for those that have actually done bad things in life and gotten off lightly due to their status.

Anyways, I'm kind of hoping that some of the backlash actually inspires Affleck to do a great job and prove everyone wrong. At the very least, I'm excited about any potential input of his regarding the script and directing and such.
