Ben Affleck IS Bruce Wayne/Batman - Part 2

He also did the voice when doing his "war to us" speech at Alfred. I loved that part. Clear sign that this man was losing his mind.

Eh, I just worry about Reeves changing the batsuit back to all black. He has that Nolan real world thang about him.

Alright this HAS to be #thomaswayne from Flash Point. Notice the cowel, the ears are sharper, the top is more round, tight. The forehead wrinkles don't exist on afflecks cowel. AND How About THE OBVIOUS GOATEE THIS ONE IS ROCKING??? Also the wrinkles in the arms of the suit. The entire suit looks different. And just a bonus. Shot is only waist up bc Thomas Wayne carries a leg holster for his gun. BOOM!

it really does look like Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The fact that the person in the suit is shrouded in darkness enough for their identity to be ambiguous on it's own is kind of something worthy of note

Eh, I still think that it's just a BvS prototype suit for costume test purposes with Ben wearing no muscle suit underneath it.

all we know for sure is that's not a cowl we've seen before. The forehead wrinkles aren't on any of the cowls so far

You're right, but they probably designed and tested several cowls before chosing the one we see in BvS. But hey, I ain't complaining if we also get Thomas Wayne as Batman tho.

Ah, crazy speculation based on a simple test picture...

Thomas Wayne?

Fanboys... Please... I beg... Stop with this sun, the moon and the stars expectation with everything. These films are not about giving you every single continuity, era or storyline that's happened over the course of 80 years. Speculate away friends but when we see we are oblivious to how and why and in what way these adaptations are being made in TV and movies we should pull it back a bit.

It's like with FLASHPOINT on the CW Flah show. "Oh my God, they are gonna do a universe wide re-boot, for the whole season or maybe permanently the status quo will be changed to an alternate time line that will radically affect not just Flash but every CW DC show, and this mini-Crisis will also allow them to integrate Supergirl, and by extension Superman and Batman maybe into the Flarrowverse! It's so simple and elegant!"

And that expectation set many up for disappointment. Cuz it's not as simple or as elegant as they thought, but more importantly they just forgot as usual that recreating every story and arc in loving exactitude isn't what these projects are about, it also is nigh on impossible to do that.

"If they killed Superman already and his return to life story now includes the JL instead of the four replacement Supermen, how are we going to get Steel and Superboy?"

You were NEVER guaranteed those characters or the stories they first appeared in, in the first place.

"If Hank Pam isn't an Avenger how will they give us Ultron with his cybernetic daddy issues?"

The answer was they changed the story of Ultron greatly in its specifics, which even before then was pretty common in the MCU.

"I didn't see Donna Troy in the Wonder Woman movie. How can they do the Teen Titans in the DCEU without having Donna as a founding member?"

They probably were never going to give you a Donna Troy in the DCEU in the first place and if they do the Titans their origins, both individually and as a group with not line up totally if at all with the multiple origins from the comics.

Sorry to rant I just think that given the widely known knowledge of how these films have been made and will be made in the foreseeable future, that this kind of thinking sets up impossible expectations and usually adds a lot of the unnecessary rancor to the online world.

I would love a Batman series of films that could encompass in no particular order YEAR ONE, Dick becoming Robin and then breaking away, bringing Jason into the fold, DEATH IN THE FAMILY, adopting Tim Drake, VENOM, KNIGHT FALL, Azreal, UNDER THE RED HOOD, COURT OF OWLS... But that's never gonna happen! They put out about a film every two to three years if they and we are lucky, usual with runtimes under 2hrs and 30min. There is a limit to what material they can cover. Anyone thinking we'll get a Thomas Wayne as Batman on screen played by JDM is being very unrealistic, ultimately.

Remember that whole Christian Bale is still Batman and Affleck is actually Slade Wilson thing?

Can we please use this occasion to be grateful for Zack and Ben for giving us this beast?

This is quite the reach. 8/10 reach.

Can't thumb this up enough... not even with Chuck Norris' thumb.

Don't see why that would be necessary. I'm just looking forward to Batman going back to the streets in a noir setting, and showcasing his detective skills.

I personally wouldn't mind an all black batsuit. It already looks black without studio lighting and negative space all around it

It's good to see that no matter what, some things remain the same. :hehe:

Remember that whole Christian Bale is still Batman and Affleck is actually Slade Wilson thing?

I mean...it's the Hype...

I'm quite excited to see what he comes up with for the batsuit.

I'm quite excited to see what he comes up with for the batsuit.

Pretty simple, really.

All he has to do is give Snyder and Wilkinson a firm but sincere handshake.

''Thank you for this suit.''

The level of detail put into these figures is amazing. No wonder they cost a fortune.
