So I was at my parents this past weekend to cookout and watch the Superbowl, and my mom mentioned that they want to see an upcoming movie that opens up soon. I jokingly told my wife, the 50 Shades movie??? Lol. I couldn't think of what they were talking about.

When the Avengers SB trailer came out, they said "that one!". I told them that didn't open until May, mom said, "no the guy in the black suit, his movie". Ohhhhhhh. Black Panther. Yes mom, I'll take y'all to go see it.

They're retired, really aren't into these types of movies, didn't want to see Star Wars, but something from these trailers piqued their interest.

Just thought I'd share that.

The same problems could be said for Steve Rogers and he's probably the best "hero" in the MCU so far. Non issue.

Nah, Iron Man is the best "hero" in the MCU. I hope T'Challa doesn't have this issue and if he does then it's fixed in the sequal.

If you check the critic thread in the Marvel sub and look at the last 50 posts or so its kind of wild over there.

BP has to have people in the film other then himself that had an arc, so we can care other films with them down the line

Marc is just not really good with comicbook movies. He always thinks he can write a better movie in his head. VERY talented writer, but not worth taking seriously in reviews.

Others noticed this as more of an ensemble and found it odd, but didn't detract from the film. As one said it was like Star Wars if it was called Luke Skywalker.

I'm good with people finding flaws in the film because no film is perfect. He just isn't as in tune with the character as much as he thinks.
