The real question is will Disney and Marvel consider going to a 4 film a year schedule. Its quite possible they may expand given the FOX properties are on the way home too.

BP2 definitely will be at least by 2021 at the latest but at the earliest I can see it being 2020 that we get Black Panther 2

Still not too sure about that Black Widow movie. At least Captain Marvel has "super powers".
I think it is a bit late for her, but I trust Marvel. They don't rush into things, if the Skrull Invasion happens her spy ability will be useful so no need for powers.

Just saw it again. Ayo was in it quite a bit, didn't notice her much in my 1st viewing. My 2nd viewing I was able to look around more not just focus on main characters and story.

This was an awesome experience. One of the best in the MCU. I'd probably rank it as my third favorite MCU film

I'm really disappointed that the cast didn't do a press run in Africa. I'm sure there was financial and logistical reasons, but they could at least send Lupita to her home country of Kenya for some promo.

Lupita and Danai went to South Africa for the premiere though.

Oh yeah, that comment about the Fox deal seemed silly to me. What I took from that was "I'm not ready to talk about that stuff yet, now how about these other movies we have this year?" I'm sure that he probably knows more than he lets on.

If he said the he thought that BP was the best they've done in the MCU I think he probably means it. Now if Stan Lee had said it... :o

Well as long as you think he probably meant it.....One of you ought to run for public office. :oldrazz::cwink:

The thing is that when you are in a position like Kevin's, you have to be very careful about what you say. I know....been there and done that.....my position just didn't pay as much as Kevin's. :woot:

I'm not slaggin' on KF. In fact, like I said, I'm glad he's where he is. I just take what he says with a grain of salt....it makes it taste better. :woot:

Marvel needs to put Black panther 2 out before 2021.

We'd (mostly) all like to see that, but there are a lot of factors to consider and there are a lot of other MCU movies in the queue. There could also be continuity issues and so on, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that BP survives Infinity Wars (A3 and 4).

Any takers?:woot:

I'd rather they not rush a BP sequel....saw what happened to Iron Man 2 and Thor TDW...

Civil War was built up over a long period of time.

Black Panther for African/African-American people could be what James Bond is for the British demographic.

Agree and it isn't like they rushed GOTG 2 after it came out of no where. BP was at least a bit suspected because he was introduced in Civil War. Marvel won't rush it, we get more Wakanda in 3 months and another year,

Is it confirmed that T'Challa is in Avengers 4?

I think they will want to rush a sequel by Fall 2020.

But considering we see T'Challa again in May and in a year's time, maybe they can relax a little :sly:

T'Challa will be in it without a doubt, but I'm not sure about any of the BP supporting cast or even Wakanda itself making an appearance in it since it seems to be a huge setpiece in Infinity War.

I agree. Kenya was a must. Could have somehow got Obama and the family to attend and that would have been a major PR coup.

I'm glad they got the premiere in South Africa though. Coogler and Boseman should have been there for sure.

I feel a sequel might see a premiere in say Nigeria or South Africa (again).

Yeah I know that.

I'm talking about the one that will be released next year after Captain Marvel.
Well I doubt they would not have him, he is probably top 3 in combat. He has all this tech that he can supply to the other heroes. Even if his fighting is limited he will have a role.

It was mentioned that a scene takes place with all the heroes gameplanning.

This I agree with. He'll probably be our only Wakanda character.
