Clone Wars "Bonus Content"

Clone Wars Anakin is everything Hayden's portrayal should have been. (And I'm not putting that failure entirely on Hayden). Matt Lanter's Anakin is charming, charismatic, engaging, witty...just an all-around likable guy. THIS Anakin's fall to the dark side would be surprising. Hayden's angst-filled, brooding characterization? Not so much.
Completely agree. Here is someone I believe it would a tragedy to lose. A powerful Jedi Knight, a fantastic pilot and a flawed, but good man.

Clone Wars Annakin is the hero Obi Wan referred to.

I agree this Anakin is so much better in storytelling but there are signs he will turn to the dark side.

Honestly, I believe that Anakin's whole fall to the Dark side would have felt much more emotional or bigger if the Anakin that we got within the films was the one that we have in the Clone Wars series.

Heck, I wouldn't be against them just reenacting out Episode 3 with the Clone Wars cast and designs since I feel like they could hit the emotional notes more better.

Plus, even without all of the seasons that the show had provided for us, you could really feel the long and cherished history between Anakin and Obi-wan, thus them becoming enemies being that much more tragic, whereas on film.... they relied more on dialogue and exposition to establish that anakin and Obi-wan had been through a lot together.

On another note, I'm guessing they won't reveal on what became of Maul, huh? Man, that's going to be one big plot hole of a mystery for the series.

And I really wish that they would have given Anakin a few more big bad villains to have gone up against and defeat, villains aside from Dooku and Ventress.

To be honest, the only time that I felt like Anakin was truly a powerful jedi was during that little stint with the Ghosts of Mortis.

Obi-wan is really lucky where he gets to get take on some great villains and show how much of a badass he is, without always being taken out by force lightning.

An Old Friend
While on a mercy mission to the planet Scipio, Padmé Amidala’s’ old flame, Rush Clovis, gets in touch with her asking for help. Having made a stand against the corruption on his planet, Clovis has now become the target of the bounty hunter Embo. Together with Padmé, he is now trying to leave his planet and get help…

The Rise Of Clovis
Back on Coruscant, Clovis strikes a dubious deal to becomes the leader of his clan which is deeply mired in corruption. Anakin doesn’t trust Clovis, causing tensions in his relationship to Padmé.

Crisis At The Heart
Having made a deal with Count Dooku, Clovis finds himself drawn into the war. Since it was him who brought the war to his home planet of Scipio, the Republic is now forced to intervene.

Clovis & Anakin's "friendship" was really entertaining in this. :)
But I felt sorry for Clovis.

Come on Netflix, give me my Clone Wars! :jedi lol

Despite being only 13 episodes long, I felt this season was likely the best.

The Order 66 and Yoda arcs were phenomenal. Two of the best arcs we've had yet. And the Clovis trilogy was surprisingly good as well.

Only the Bardotta arc (Jar Jar/Mace) was weak and that was thankfully only 2 episodes long.

Edit: There is also a clone trooper called Commander Doom who resembles, you guessed it, Doctor Doom!

Here is a pic:

Also for EU fans a [blackout]specter of Darth Bane appears.[/blackout] He looks awesome but does not resemble the EU character at all.

I just watched the Yoda Season 6 arc. It was pretty good for what it was. It's kind of like Alice In Wonderland with Yoda.

Wow. Everything's up now. Wasn't expecting it til tomorrow morning.

That Kaminoan ***** who keeps interfering with Fives is getting on my nerves!:cmad:

This revelation that it was a chip that made the clones turn against the Jedi changes my perspective of Order 66. It explains how Commander Cody could have turned on Obi-wan. The clones were just as much victims as the Jedi.:(

Fives:(

I'm really enjoying this Yoda arc. The Dagobah scene was hitting all the right nostalgia notes.:)

Dark side Yoda.:shock

Just finished. A fantastic ending to a great series. That Yoda arc tied so much together, and I couldn't be happier.

agreed to everything...

I really liked on how the last few episodes really explained on how the Clones so easily turned on the Jedi, especially after all of the bonds and friendships that we've seen them develop with their Jedi Generals.

At first I thought, early on in the series, that it would be because the Clones grew to secretly hate the Jedi due to them treating them all poorly, that wasn't really the case as the series progressed.

And unless I'm mistaken, I loved on how they gave subtle references to not only Luke but the impact that he'll make in the future.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I really think Luke is sometimes overlooked as the real hero that he is for the galaxy in the original trilogy due to people placing a lot of the credit on Anakin having been redeemed and throwing Sidious to his death.

And the visuals of seeing Anakin and Yoda fight along side each other for the first time, and against Sidious no less (despite the fact that it was an allusion) was great.

I also enjoyed on how Anakin was, for once, not overpowered by Dooku during their fight on the planet when they were trying to gather info about Syfo Dias. It definitely showed on how Anakin would be able to beat him later on in Episode 3.

Not me. Luke is my man and the hero of the story.

The last 13 episodes were pure orgasm. Condensed awesomeness and importance to the main saga and the entire mythos. Even 1 episode that seemed like filler was elevated greatly by its 2nd part, closed an open thread and, imo, redeemed a bad character of the PT. The last 3 episodes... I don't even. Bravo. Just bravo.

Two (intertwining) arcs remain open. Hopefully, Rebels will deal with them.

Despite it being the shortest season, this was definitely the best season and I'm glad it ended like this. I liked every episode and found the first and fourth arcs were incredible.

Damn what a season. Thank you Netflix for giving them an outlet for finishing the series. Easily one of the greatest cartoons ever

Easily the best arc of the whole series is the last one with Yoda.

So, it actually has an ending? Does it lead up to ROTS?

Not 100%, but many loose ends are tied up and I do believe that watching Ep1-Ep2-TCW and then RotS is a much more complete experience now.

Thankfully they did the clone wars as a show too instead of being in the movies
