Pfft. That's not saying much. At all.
Granted, but I don't think the art's bad. I was more so saying that if you suffered through Ramos to read X-Men than you should be able to read Fearless.
Here are some scans:
That's not bad, at all. The left eye on the chick in the bottom panel looks wonky, though.
Violation of policy!
I quoted the wrong dude Photo.
Just started Ragnarok, this s*** is goddamn epic!Blood Oath was more of an old school adventure, but 1 chapter in and s*** is already hitting the fan.
Blood Oath still remains one of my favorites.
Apparently there's some Beast Wars Sourcebook or something that claims they're the G1 characters in new bodies. Which sucks because, really, Optimus Primal shouldn't be commanding anything if the Maximals could send veterans of the Great War in to relieve him.
Longbow Hunters - I'm one third into the book, and I must say,as Ollie being one of my favorite characters, this grounded, realistic gritty approach works so well.I loved Kevin and Brad's stuff, but Grell's approach is up there,if not better. It's a shame Grell's run after this isn't collected.
I like Grell's GA a lot. I'm disappointed that Ollie's fallen so far under Winick.
Agreed. This was an excellent series. I dont know who the writer is either, but he seemed to have a very good grasp on all the characters continuity...past and present. I would love to see more of him with these characters and maybe a few different ones next time.
These types of books (fun, exciting, adventurous...self-contained) are becoming more and more rare these days, what with everything having to be a huge, multi-part "EVENT".
Precisely, so I try to appreciate said books when I can find 'em.
The only reason I didn't get FEARLESS #1 was because my LCS didn't order any copies. I may try to get it on Sunday from Manhattan.
Dread, is it hard to figure that the brutal alien society may have just given scientists license to do whatever they want to whomever they want, thus advancing their species' science. Duh. Duh duh duh. Sure maybe one or two got killed by Kruun along the way. Sure! But duh.
ALso, could you please shut up about the Wolverine beer scene. Everyone in the world, that is to say, 100% of people not named Dread, enjoyed that scene. You however have cited it in every single review of the book since its occurrence, as being stupid. We get you! You don't like it. You have terrible, terrible taste.
Also, please relate some of your feelings on Bendis.
If it hasn't been stated, then it is theory. Kruun hasn't displayed that much cunning. He belittles Ord for being stupid, yet really isn't much smarter.
Taste is subjective. I'm sure you like something I don't.
The beer scene was pretty stupid to me. Had it been for a story that was a comedy, I could have bought it. But it wasn't, so I didn't.
Whedon & Cassaday at least finally had a hardcore Cyclops scene again. It had been too long since "Get off the Lawn".
The gobs of sarcasm from that last line are actually amusing to me.
Well, I'm terribly humorous. Maybe you're finally seeing the light.
You have your moments. Not too many, mind you, but some.
Primal was just a general. Wasn't the Axalon just intended for space exploration? The council seems to be in charge of all of Cybertron. That's cool with me.
Primal wasn't even a general, I don't think. He was the head of a science vessel. But he was also entrusted with stuff like the disposal of Protoform X and he had a demolitions expert with obvious military experience on his ship, so I always suspected he may have had more of a military past than he let on. I guess it could've been a military science vessel. I don't think BW was too clear on that.
Still, Razorbeast and Magmatron both knew all about the exploits of Primal and Megatron's groups on Earth, so they must come from a time after Primal and Megatron got back to Cybertron. The fact that Primal managed to do what even top secret covert ops agents like Ravage couldn't--defeat Megatron's rogue Preds and bring him in--should've made him a hero and catapulted his influence way higher than the stupid Convoys'.
Mmhmm. Mmhmm. Tell me more about this lame comic. Ok just kidding, don't.
Astonishing - Great
Last week's Batman - Good
Robin - Average
This whole recent 3rd Kryptonian arc in Superman - Terrible
Buffy - haven't read it yet
yeah the superman arc is pretty meh, dissapointed in Kurt's writing on this arc so far.
Has anybody informed BrianWilly about the fact that he's not funny?
People still think that the whole Zero Wing thing is still funny? AYBABTU was ******ed when it first was around, and it's even worse now.
I've been watching over all of you for the last three days while I was gone. I'm only gone 3 days and the Hype goes to ****. BW trying to be funny, PJ and Doc agreeing on ****, people getting name changes. I am here my people, I am here.
I stayed the same.
