Well, JMS did mention that he always planned to retcon the Gwen/Norman twins out. Maybe he viewed OMD as a similar sort of thing, with the understanding that the BND writers would eventually undo it. I don't really believe that, but it's possible.

The twins? I know that, I meant it's a similar sort of story genesis--create some new set of circumstances that provide new storytelling opportunities (using the term loosely), explore them, and then retcon the circumstances out.

Secondly, basing your opinions on past works is fine. I've made no bones about the fact that BND will not doubt be a very well drawn and well written storyline. We know this based on who's involved. My stance is that I'll not be buying it because the measures taken to tell that story. Im not interested in supporting that.
