When has Rocket ever had an Australian accent?

If he's confusing Cockney for Australian, then this reaction is warranted:

I loved every scene with Rocket in it! Him and Groot stole the show as far as I am concerned.

Cooper was awesome as the voice of Rocket. Loved every bit. I felt bad when he knew he was going to lose his best friend on the dark Aster. "Groot. Why are you doing this? You're going to die, Groot." and then Groot says "We are Groot..." as he brushes a tearful Rocket's face with a...tentacle... or whatever that was...

Plants have tendrils or vines.

That scene and the one after, where Rocket was gathering up Groot's remains and crying, nearly undid me. I would never have thought that two totally CGI characters could be invested with so much raw emotion. They were the heart and soul of the film.

Anyone think that Rocket's personality was occasionally like ALF? When he laughed at Quill and then said that it was a genuine laugh, that sounded like something ALF might say.
