You know if Walt didn't get winged by the M60 along with Jesse not killing him would Walt have ended his own life or would he have allowed himself to be taken into custody? Strong signs point to the former.

Considering he was already bleeding out I interpreted his asking of Jesse to kill him as less I want to die cause he was already wounded and dying and more so trying to balance the scales with Jesse over all the **** he'd done to him.

Of course Jesse by that point didn't need it anymore and I saw the final nod between them as some kind of joint acknowledgment that they had both found some sort of inner peace.

But man was it awesome seeing Jesse drive through that gate.

Darn.. why couldn't Skylar have died!!!

Ya I'm pretty sure he went there with no intention of coming back out. I think if it wasn't for Jesse being there he probably would have just let the M60 take care of him

I literally screamed "YYYYEEEAAAHH *****!!!" :woot:

he would have shot himself IMO. He knew this was his last moment. He got clipped and hoped Jesse would end the pain quickly... but Jesse punished him and Walt knew he deserved it hence the head nod... just my opinion.

this too... maybe walt had the intention of taking them all out, jesse and himself included... but seeing jesse in his current state, decided to make a drastic move.

Her daughter maybe? Can't remember what her name was.
From the Breaking Bad Wiki her daughter's name is Kiira. I have no clue who Monica is, if that's what she said.

In the “Talking Bad’ interview after the finale, Vince Gilligan alludes to Walt at the end as being like Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, in the meth lab, reunited with “his Precious.”

It’s an interesting comparison: Smeagol/Gollum was a dual character like Walt/Heisenberg, and he too ended The Lord of the Rings not redeemed–indeed, villainous–yet instrumental in defeating a larger evil nonetheless. Here, likewise, Walt is alone at the end of all things with a beloved, cold thing. He takes a moment to himself, considers his life’s work, and the last things he sees are himself, his machine, and a smear of blood. One more time, he is caressing his baby. He’s alone with what he loves, and what he deserves.

Elliott Schwartz is perhaps the least intimidating man on the planet.

I thought for sure he was going to take flight with his ears and escape. :o

What a great finale. I stayed away from the internet all day so as to avoid spoilers. I feel completely satisfied with everything that happened.

I'm curious to see what the sales are going to be like on iTunes for Baby Blue. It's probably going to be a number one single haha.

Did Walt shed a tear when he finally died at the end? Cause that would fulfill the blood-meth-tears everyone has been floating around for Felina.

I'm pretty sure Lydia just said "Oh my God."

Walt's plan almost completely backfired considering he almost got shot right in there that room.

I'm pretty sure Walt's main target was Uncle Jack. Everyone else is give or take since he knew the police were coming. They could get hauled off to jail or get killed he didn't care.

Actually it was pretty realistic. The gun was about waste high so the only way you wouldn't get hit is if you were on the ground and even that didn't work out all that well for ole Walt.

Read what I said again.

Of all I pointed out, its not the why or how are they all dead that bothered me but the way it had to happen for it to work like it was intended IE having a room with all of them inside when they could've easily be spreaded out throughout the site..

That kind of prediction/gamble by Walt just seems a little too much Batman Gambit for my tastes.

i kind of thought he expected that and knew he'd talk Jack into bringing jesse to him. maybe i am wrong.. it all seemed intentional minus his keys being taken away.

And it was apparent even before he showed up at the neo-nazi compound that Walt had resigned himself to the fact that he wasn't walking out of there alive even if his plan to gun down Jack and his crew fell through. After all, he was already on his last legs due to his cancer and it looked like he was going to keel over any second.

What if Walt's main target was only Jack?
