I'm about halfway through season 3 now watching it in a big marthon and I think it's probably the best show i'v watched (before being BSG). It's amazing. I was just watching "Sunset" and they like they turned a freaking caravan sitting still into the tensest thing i'v saw in a tv or movie all year. :D

Haha, Sunset is fantastic. But wait for the next episode, One Minute. It tops Sunset's ending in every possible way.

Yeah One Minute easily beats out Sunset. I felt like watching a horror film in One Minute. lol

None of the episodes I have watched so far have seem to feel like filler or signifcantly weaker than the other. Other big shows, Lost, Battlestar, 24 and so on did have this problem in one form or another. It kinda hard to spot here. The airplane thing seemed to be maybe, abit too contrived and over fantastical but thats about all that comes to mind.

No, they just made him feel like he was the hero of the story about to get his fate. By hero I meant the protagonist. By the end of the series I was much more on Gus's side than on Walt's. It was Walt willing
to poison a child
to get his way, not Gus.

I'd agree with that. Walt has just become so loathsome. He is manipulative, cowardly and ruthlessly uses people as pawns (Brock, his neighbour, Jesse etc etc).

The creator described Walt's journey as going from "Mr. Chips to Scarface", that sums up the path Walt is on right now pretty perfectly.

Finally started the show, after saying I would catch up 3 months ago.... Halfway through season 3.

amazing.

About the finale last week....

@ConanOBrien Conan O'Brien
Excited for the Breaking Bad season finale tonight. My prediction: Something will not go as planned and meth will be involved.

@ConansSquirrel Conan's Squirrel
Breaking Bad Season Finale Spoiler Alert: Malcolm finally graduates high school and heads to Harvard for college.

And sorry if this was posted before, but I'm very glad that people keep finding this show and enjoy it, it's ratings increased 24 percent in the Adults 18-49 demographic over the third season, "the most for any drama series in basic cable history."

Finally saw the finale...awesome. The final shot of the 'lilly flower'; are the saying that Walt made the boy sick, in a ploy to get Jesse back on his side...?

Walt made him sick to get Jesse on his side.

So the boy was never in any danger of dying? I've seen Walt get pretty cold blooded this season. He's turning into Gus, of sorts. It would be cold if he used the boy in such a harsh way....

Since he is the master of chemistry, i'm sure Walter gave him a concentrated dose that poisoned him but not enough that it would kill him. Lily of the Valley is highly poisonous in high doses.

Walt's reaction of utter relief at hearing Brock was going to be okay shows how close the kid came to dying.

He was most certainly in danger of dying. I'm sure Walt did everything he could to ensure the poison wasn't quite that potent, he didn't want Brock to die after all. There was still definitely a chance though. A calculated risk.

Exactly. do they ever mention that in the show? That that plant is potentially lethal? It seems to me that they would've done that, but I can't remember a specific moment they did that.

The scene were he's lying under the floor-board laughing in madness is freaking awsome. The way this show goes from 0 to 100 is amazingly done.

It's been repeated across every corner of the Internet ad nauseam, but the last ten minutes or so of that episode is the best television I've ever seen. That scene in particular was just chilling.

Mainly in children though.

Ricin takes a day or two before it kicks in, that was what Walt liked about it. That it would be untraceable by the time the person dies, so when Brock was in the hospital the timeline didn't make sense, even if you thought Gus did it.

Just finised the final episode of season 4.
They could have just made that the very last episode and left the (awsome) final plot twist open and I would have been happy. Best show i'v seen, period.

It's kinda baffling that this is (I think at least) isn't even getting broadcast in the uk. I probably wouldn't have even heard about it at all if it wasn't for the internets.
Pretty much every other big name drama gets broadcast.

lol@all of the doubters who couldn't stop complaining about the first half of this season. This show has always been about build-up, exposition, and character development in the first half of the season and things coming to a full boil near the end..

Definitely. The ending to "Crawl Space" is the best in all of Breaking Bad, but not only that, it's arguably the greatest ending to any TV episode ever. Only "The Getaway" from Dexter can challenge it for that title IMO.

What about Deep Space 9's season 5 final? It was pretty much a gamechanger.

I made pretty much the exact same post after that episode aired. Apparently it actually was written and filmed to serve as a possible series finale, because at the time the future of the series was uncertain.

Did you see that twist coming, by the way?

Do you get Mad Men and The Walking Dead and other AMC stuff?

We're you watching this on the Internet or something?

Hopefully those people know what payoff is all about now!

Yea the UK gets both Mad Men and Walking Dead. So no idea why this isn't broadcast.
I didn't see the twist coming. Perhaps I was just too dumb to get the gun twirling, it makes sense now, obviously.

Yes, I saw alot of people talking about it. I will be buying the dvd set off amazon though, i'm not going to rip off a quility show.
I bet i'm actually one of the few people in the UK who buys it, assuming it's even sold in the uk.
