Remember when Hank was seen as pretty much the antagonist of the show the first couple of seasons?

His character has gone through such a huge transformation these past few seasons that you could and i think some fans do see him as sort of the hero of the show now. Are any of you still rooting against hank in his crusade?

I stopped rooting for Walt around season 3. The only reason Hank could be viewed as a villain is because Walt is just in over his head and isn't necessarily a bad guy, he's just stuck in a bad business. But that hasn't been the case for some time; Walt is every bit the "monster" Hank describes the guys he chases as now. Walt's done more than enough to deserve a tragic fall at this point, and I'm hoping he gets it. Only thing is, I'm hoping Jesse delivers it rather than Hank.

Yeah i had a really weird sensation when hank went into the bathroom in that last scene. I thought something bad was going to happen to him and i was actually more relieved he found incriminating evidence on walt, than i would have been had he died or been killed.

I would not have felt that way in season 2. At this point walt is the monster indeed, it's gotten to the point where i can see walt trying to take out both hank and jesse.

I really didn't like Hank at the beginning of the series at all. He came off as a meat-headed, alpha male dumbass. And kind of a racist too. I came around though when he took up that position that sent him into Mexico. His character started to develop after that.

I was wondering just what he would see, what could possibly be in that bathroom that would point him into the direction of Walt.

I've liked all the characters (antagonist or protagonist...or both) since the very first episode. I've became invested to everyone's point of view so I can't really go on "I hate Hank, Skyler, ect."

Ha, my friend and I were just trying to calculate how many people Walt had killed, either directly or indirectly. We came up at around the low 20s, although we disagreed on the responsibility for some of them (Combo, for example; neither Walt nor Jesse kills him personally, but he dies as a result of dealing their meth as part of Walt's plan to expand that Jesse puts into motion).

If Walt just rolls Jane over the plane crash doesn't happen. So he can be held for that if you ask me.

I think that when Walt does meet his end, Gilligan will do something before it that makes us think he really isn't that bad of a guy.

I can see where people are coming from when they say that they want Jesse to have his revenge on Walt, but I don't want Jesse to get his hands dirty. If "revenge" means helping Hank get Walt behind bars, then I'm all for it. But Jesse has enough blood on his hands. It's time for him to get out of that life for good.

I was just thinking, they are really going to be coming at Walt from all angles next year. Hank, the other dealer based in the US, the international dealers in the Czech Republic and possibly even Todd's uncle's crew (if Walt does indeed off Todd for whatever reason).

It should all make for an explosive and frenetic non stop pace in the final 8 episodes.
