Breaking Bad - Part 3

This episode was a slow burn you could just see how it was gonna end.

Him not wanting Jesse to get involved I took it as him wanting to honor the fact the he wanted out.

Breaking Bad's Twitter might have spoiled a big plot point of the rest of the season.

They're asking people to tweet either #TeamWalt or #TeamJesse

Sounds promising as ****.

Sucks to see Mike go. But his last words were great.

[BLACKOUT]#TeamJesse like whoa.[/BLACKOUT]

I second the Skyler/Jesse notion. I gotta say, I was absolutely convinced that Mike's grand daughter was gonna get killed accidentally somehow. This whole episode I was on the edge of my seat thinking something crazy was gonna happen at any moment. I can't believe this show has invoked that kinda feeling in me. The tension, every single episode is just ****ing palpable

Episode 20: Mike first appears because Bob Odenkirk wasn't available to help Jesse deal with Jane's death so they created the character.

Episode 22: Mike saves Walt's life from the Cousins by alerting Gus.

Episode 33: Mike almost shoots Walt.

Episode 43: Mike is shot by the Cartel.

Episode 53: Mike is shot by Walt.

Not really spoiling anything. It's been blatant. #TeamDippingSticksYo

wow...never thought mike's death could hit me so hard. i wanted mike to have a life. after all the things he has been gone through..

Besides the ending of this episode, the scene where [BLACKOUT]Mike just had to abandon his granddaughter was so sad. Didn't get a chance to say goodbye. :csad:[/BLACKOUT]

It's not even a question for me. I've been #teamjesse since the second season.

The last five to ten minutes of the episode, basically everything during and after the playground scene was on some Crawlspace **** for me. Had my stomach in knots.

And she won't get the money.

It was a slow burn the entire time he was a character on this show. You knew it was coming.

Indeed. And I find it amusing that two kids have died on this show and, yet, it's Mike's death that has everyone in an uproar.

Walt seemed like Walt again for the first time in a long time at the end of the episode. He actually seemed worried/distraught rather than oozing benevolence ala Heisenberg.

It's amazing how Cranston can turn it on and off like a switch.

Well he was distraught realizing he could've gotten the names in a much easier way.

Although Walt kept the gun, I don't think he went there with the intention of killing. It was those words Mike said, "Know your place." That's what ignited that pride and caused Walter to go into full on rage Heisenberg mode. As soon as the gun fired it was like he snapped back to reality. Scary.

Ughhhhh, this year wait. Next week is going to be both exhilarating and soul crushing.

walt is my boy.

no one crosses heisenberg and lives to tell about it!

I think Walt took the gun and was absolutely prepared to kill Mike if he didn't name names. I think the reason he hesitated, or appeared to anyway, was because of the way Mike so accurately dressed him down. It cut him, and he wasn't prepared for it.

i really have a strong feeling that jesse flipped to the DEA a while ago.

i don't see it that way at all. i think he took the gun just in case, but mike berating him pissed him off. walt had enough with mike not respecting him, and i think his emotions got the best of him.
