Breaking Bad - Part 3

What were they? Guess it's safe to say now.

What were they if you don't mind me asking?

The first was that Walt was going to kill Jesse. Walt shows up at Jesse's doorstep, and that whole scene was filled with tension. I breathed a sigh of relief when Walt left, but then he left that bag and Jesse was opening it so slowly and carefully like he expected a bomb to be in there or something.

The second was that Walt was going to murder Skyler, in the kitchen specifically. Lo and behold, there they were in their dark kitchen.

The third was that something terrible was going to happen to Holly and possibly more of the family. At the end of the episode, everyone was so uncharacteristically cheery and there was kind of a big focus on Holly. I fully expected Declan and his crew or some other rival gang hop the fence and open fire.

All eight episodes were superb. Each season has left me with a feeling that it can't get any better, and then it goes and elevates itself way beyond what I imagined.

One ****ing year. Go.

Phew. I'm going to have to let that episode sink in and/or sleep on it.

And that was also the exact moment he literally shat a brick.

Best part of the episode...Hank finding that book or Walt's Nazi death squad?

Hank's moment had a visceral punch because we have been waiting for it and it was greatly justified. The death squad was a ****ing cool display of masterful direction and editing that BB excels at.

My answer would be both. :o

EDIT - But seriously, they literally ended it with Hank ****ting. I just want to thank Gilligan in person for that. Everyone says holy ****, but we got exactly that.

Vince said in the Inside video that it was a "Oh ****!" moment! I like how there are these minor slip ups by Walt that happen now and then.

Walt says he's out so it will be interesting to see how Hank makes a case.

Damn, I knew I should had stayed away from this threat.

As soon as he sat down I said to my friend "Oh ****!!! He's putting it all together on the ****ter!" and then I saw the book and I just knew. I new about the Skyler spoiler but had no idea about the Jesse one and that was the one scene that had the most tension for me still. Jesse was scared ****ing ****less of Walt. A WHOLE GOD DAMNED YEAR!!!!

During that scene by the pool with the whole family, my heart was pounding as i was CERTAIN that Walter. jr. was gona get hit by a sniper bullet or something. The way the scene was framed, with Walter Jr. slowly approaching us from the background, pushing the baby, i kept saying "holy crap, holy crap, holy crap, he's gona get shot any second". I think it was a deliberate misdirection, Gilligan is brilliant.

I muted my TV because I was scared someone was going die...im such a dork.

Can't say or show the word "f**k" on TV.

10 people getting violently, brutally murdered one after the other in graphic detail? No problem!

Anyhoo yeah, I usually have a lot of praise for this show but I'm at a loss for words.

Everyone just being happy was a dead give away something was going to happen. Breaking Bad doesn't want the characters happy or us especially.

Im glad Walt did the right thing by giving Jesse his money and getting out. Redeemed him for me a little bit.

Shelter the children from nipples and swear words, man.
