marie won me over tonight. thats the kind of woman i want.

You know it didnt even occur to me how much this could f up Hank's life and career as well. I mean imagine him telling the DEA "yeah, um, one of the biggest drug kingpins in America is my brother in law...........cough"

That will absolutely ruin him. And now just him knowing what he knows puts him in a corner. If he doesnt divulge what he knows he can be accused of obstruction of justice. Wow Walt really screwed his family over.

his physical therapy after being shot was paid for by drug money and he beat up the bad guys partner who then conveniently dropped the charges. It's weird how he thinks arresting walt would make a difference in terms of keeping his career

That is what I was thinking Walts next move should be, he could say that hank was his inside man or his muscle. I can't wait for Walt to break it down to Hank
if you watched talking bad that could be what the table scene is all about next week?

Knowing about Brock would probably be enough fuel to stoke Jesse's fire anyway.
I always thought Walt would "brag" about watching Jane die though. One of those last minute "Walt becomes pure bad guy" moments if they decide to go all the way with it.

Can you believe how fast the characters are finding out about Walt, while meanwhile on Dexter nobody's even close to figuring out about him?

Dexter doesn't care if people know about him.

Stupid kid in the plastic? Eh, cut him loose. There's no risk...

I don't know which effect is greater - BB making Dexter's writing look that much worse or Dexter making me appreciate BB that much more.

Does Saul know about Mike's death? I assume he does because of that scene in the last episode, but perhaps if he does, he tells Jesse as well?

I think Saul put two and two together after Jesse wanted to give Mike's granddaughter his money last episode.

And now while everything is going terribly, she's on the up and up. She's like wolf in sheep's clothing if the wolf was trapped in a corner, shaking terribly, and batsh%t f&%*ing insane.
I'd say a better analogy would be a sheep who's in the constant company of vicious wolves. But as long as she serves a purpose, helping filling their bellies, they dont devour her.

You guys are right though, shes WAY in over her head with the company she keeps.

Not looking at the posts, because iTunes still hasn't put the new episode up (I live out of the country so I can't watch it on AMC like everyone else). Usually they have new episodes up within hours, but it's taking a lot longer this time. :csad: iTunes better.... tread lightly. :cmad:

SO I kid you not, I saw I guy on facebook this morning that was saying how this new season of BB can't hold a candle to the new season of Dexter. I was stunned, makes me wonder what his definition of good tv is

I can't even imagine.

I used to LOVE Dexter. I probably would've called in one of the best television shows ever at one point but...I don't know at this point I feel like its merely curiousity to see how the show ends at this point. I watched the first 4 episodes of this season and...ehhh I don't feel compelled to watch it week to week like I do with BB. We're only two episodes in with BB and i'm foaming at the mouth.

I would have to agree with you. Dexter is a guilty pleasure for me, but it can't hold a candle to the emotional intensity of these past two episodes. I have been on the edge of my seat the whole time watching them and then disappointed when the episodes end too soon. I want more! :yay:

"I never would've agreed to it if I knew what he was gonna do! You gotta believe me!"

Holy **** son!!! Wonder what he could pssibly mean by that?! A week has NEVER felt so long before. Not ever!

Sounds like maybe the poison.

That's what it looks like to me as well. The saddest part is Jesse could be finding out the truth from everybody except Walt.

And with Hank, the question is how long he has to keep mum on Walt until he gathers up solid evidence to convict him. Because if he doesn't get him sooner, obviously as discussed, Hank can face jail time and lose his job. Which is why Hank is going to do his damndest to get Jesse to help him. Jesse is the key here. If Skyler won't turn him in or admit to anything, Hank has no one else to turn to other than him.

i think the biggest problem with dexter is, that the showrunner changed a couple times. there is not one person with a vision like vince.
And while I still enjoy watching dexter, its not nearly as dense of a story like BrBa is..
The consequences in BrBa - they're coming ( as Walt said ) and they come fast while in dexter they drag these things out over 2 seasons.. Also the series ends in 4 episodes and nothing looks like heading to an end.. weird.

Yeah, but Walt tells Saul everything as it is. And really for no good reason. I don't see why he wouldn't tell him that.

Saul is basically his therapist.

you do realize that saul is a cockroach? you realize that saul also consults jesse? walter would never tell anybody about this. walter can justify everyone he killed so far in his view, but not jane.

What I got from Hank's conversation with Marie is that his career is over, regardless. There's just two things that has to happen:

A) He at least wants to be the one to truly take down Walt by coming in with evidence only he found.

B) He has to make sure that Walt doesn't get arrested by the DEA in the meantime while A is in progress, since not only will goal A fail, but Hank goes to jail for his troubles.

This leads me to speculate that:

A) Hank will end up getting Jesse out of the DEA's clutches, and

B) End up working with Jesse to take Walt down.
