:funny:

That whole confession thing is something I would really like to see in a comic book movie with a villain pulling that on a hero.

One thing we have to remember about Jesse's epiphany regarding Walt poisoning Brock. First, is that Huell pickpocketing the ricin cigarette off of him is what Jesse initially suspected back in season 4 when he found that cigarette was missing from his pack, hence his belief that Brock was poisoned with ricin.

But the second thing to keep in mind is that this the conclusion Walt wanted Jesse to come to. Why? Because, if Jesse suspected Walt of poisoning Brock, Walt knew Jesse would try and come after him to kill him. And when Jesse did exactly that, that allowed Walt to use that opportunity to manipulate Jesse into helping him kill Gus. Remember, Walt had been urging Jesse to kill Gus all throughout that season, but Jesse couldn't go through with it. Plus, Gus was intentionally driving a wedge between Walt and Jesse to the point where Jesse became more a part of Gus' inner circle. By making Jesse initially suspecting correctly that Walt poisoned Brock, Walt was gambling on what was left of their partnership and trust to swing Jesse back over to his side.

I lol'd when Chris Hardwick pointed out that Walt is so good at lying to everyone, but when it comes to Skyler, it's like "Dude, you're terrible at this."

Wow this is genius!

I love the continued Western showdown imagery that Hank and Marie represent in this shot. They’re squared off against Walt in a classic three point configuration that’s reflected in the painting over Hank’s bar.

anyone else bummed that already we know
Jesse doesn't actually burn down Walts house

Such is the potential weekness of the flash forwards, but then it does beg the question of why he doesn't follow through.

My guess is that he see Holly or something.

Eh...not so much. I was never like, itching to see Jesse burn their house down or whatever. You never know though, he might light the fire but it gets put out quickly or something.

or Walt catches up to him right before he lights it up.

Btw lately its been noted that Dean Norris was in Total Recall.

Something I realized this past weekend was that he was alson in Verhoeven' Starship Troopers. He's the officer in the training camp who orders the corporal punishment for Johnny Rico.

I'm guessing
Hank followed him from Saul's office.

^ Is it wrong that Hank's fave is whats funny to me in that pic? LOL

:hehe: My point is, the writers of The Sopranos killed off Christopher, arguably the most important character on the show aside from Tony, at the beginning of an episode, then spent the episode exploring his death. I'm not saying it will happen here, but I wouldn't rely on people dying at the end of an episode as a sign that anyone is safe for the first 45 minutes. Nor would I let the spatial relation to the finale lull you into safety. Christopher was killed with 4 episodes left. It was just the random start to what would've been an otherwise normal episode.

You know, it's been so long since I'd seen that I forgot it happened at the beginning. So there are some exceptions. But most dramas do tend to save major deaths for the end of an episode. Just from a story perspective, they're always more likely to end on a shocking moment than start out with one.

Considering how small things from earlier seasons have a tendency to pay off now, anyone else think they'll reference or follow up on:

near the end of season 4 when Walt Jr heard his dad call him Jesse as he was passing out? It was in the episode after Walt and Jesse fought.

There's a reference in the 'next on' trailer of Jr saying something along the lines of 'Can you just tell me the truth for once?'

AMC crossover universe confirmed!

I guess that means that Walt starts the zombie outbreak by engineering something in a lab to fight the Czechs?
