Breaking Bad - Part 8

The worst thing is that people are so eager to post spoilers, then people start clicking on and talking about them without spoiler tags. You can tell what people are talking about no matter how vague they are, and it ruins the thread.

You, you wanna know what he did?

You wanna hear about it?

He poisoned a little kid.

An 8 year old boy just because, you know, AS A MOVE!!!!

But.. But... :csad:

You don't have to come in the thread, you know?

None of us have to come into the thread. We all come in here because we enjoy discussing the show. I'm with him, it really does ruin a thread. Because then lots of people just leave for fear of spoilers and most the people that do click on the spoilers end up regretting it. Why not just leave those kinda things to pms? Talk about it one on one with people if they actually want to know.

You don't have to come in the thread, you know?

People have a right to read a thread without seeing spoilers for things that haven't aired yet.

Telling me I should leave if I don't like spoilers is a terrible way of addressing the point.

I can just as well tell you that if you need to read spoilers, go make your own thread and keep them out of here.

Pm's are the way to go here guys. It's a really simple solution.

I'm not going to post anymore spoilers for this season of Breaking Bad.

I get what you guys mean.

Peace out.

An even simpler solution is having a bit of self control and not reading spoilers if you don't want to be spoiled.

The complaint was about people carrying on the discussion without spoiler tags or trying to be vague when it's easy to figure out what they mean.

You can avoid the post if you KNOW it's a spoiler post. But it's hard to not read a spoiler post when you don't know it's a spoiler post until you read it.

:whatever:

Maybe you should reread the last few posts to see what the issue is - unmarked spoiler discussion.

You keep sidestepping that simple point. It's not difficult to understand.

edit - here, I'll help you because I'm feeling generous.

You changed your tune from telling people to get out of the thread to telling them to not click tags. Not much consistency in whatever it is you're trying to argue.

I understand and agree with posting spoilers from the unaired episode, but if you come into this thread tonight after the new episode airs not having watched it then you can't complain about it being spoiled for you. What did you think was gonna be discussed?

Nobody's talking about episodes after they air. Once something airs any discussion is fair game.

The issue is posting spoilers from an unaired episode and the resulting untagged discussion.

I understood the issue and agree with you, the rest of my post was just my other feelings regarding spoilers

So, are we really getting feelings caught over discussing spoilers without tags...from season 4? At least we're a leg up from posting spoilers on pure speculation, I guess.

Can you give examples of people posting unmarked spoilers? Because I haven't seen any of that happening.

Actually, I think Lord was whining about that earlier in the thread.

You changed your tune from telling people to get out of the thread to telling them to not click tags. Not much consistency in whatever it is you're trying to argue.

My tune hasn't changed. My only "argument" is that you only have yourself to blame by entering Breaking Bad discussion threads and/or clicking spoiler tags. If you don't want to see spoilers, why would you read a Breaking Bad thread in the first place? If I were as fragile as you, that would seem like one of the last things I would want to do.

It just seems like common sense to me, that if you're really so sensitive about it, then you would want to avoid places (like say, a Breaking Bad discussion thread) where spoilers are at least somewhat likely to occur.

Beyond that though, in a larger context, people who whine about spoilers annoy me to no end. It's gotten to the point where we aren't even allowed to speculate on things that might happen. It's getting really ****ing ridiculous, and I refuse to capitulate to such absurdity.

I doubt we're out from posting spoilers from the first episode in Season One.

Has the latest episode aired yet? If not how much longer will it take?

:hehe:

I don't know what it is, but whatever forum I'm on, the BrBa threads are always the craziest.
