Season 1 is terrific television.
Season 2 and on is where it gets into "Greatest Show of All Time" territory.

.......Tony Danza?

It's funny how quaint and quirky some of their situations in season one feel compared to the **** they've gotten themselves into now.

Depends on how you look at it? What walt got himself into in the 1st episode of the series was as about as extreme a situational change from his regular life at that point as you can get.

I mean from this:

In little more than one day i think?

That was a bad situation.

Everything now is, like, bad times a million.

Jesse may have been getting very angry with Walter, but in the end they got into the situation they were in post-Fring due to Jessie's action and Walter trying to stick with him. When Jesse was getting Fring's trust and Mike was starting to like him he seemed to be less willing to Help his old teacher, when Walter himself had sacrificed that position in order to save Pinkman.

I'd say in terms of **** hitting the fan things peaked in season 4 with gus trying to take him out. Right now from his point of view he's really only dealing with both Jess and/or hank possibly getting him in trouble with the authorities.

Of course now he knows jess is possibly gunning for him but he probably considers him less a lethal threat than gus.

Season 4 was the best season so far. I doubt the series finale tops season 4's finale.

So the next episode is titled Rabid Dog. The episode description is as follows;

An unusual strategy starts to bear fruit, while plans are set in motion that could change everything.

Predictions?

I really think you should put episode descriptions in tags. Some people like myself are trying to avoid all spoilers. That includes sneek peaks and episode descriptions. Not trying to be a dickA, just sayin

Yeah, but having essentially half your head blown off I think would be different. I'd assume there would be so much direct damage to the brain would kill any motor abilities, at least to the point that someone could walk out of a room, stand there for a second, and adjust his tie. I don't know, though, I may be wrong about it.

But anyway, I wouldn't say ultra-realistic for describing BB, but I do think there's a grounded aspect to the series, so when you see something like that it does feel a little out of place, at least to me. I don't think anyone is trying to make a big deal out of it, though.

I saw a story on dateline or something a while ago where a guy was shot in the head while sleeping. He ended up getting up the next morning and went through his morning routine (putting a robe on, pouring a bowl of cereal, etc.) in a kind of zombie like state I think, and ended up collapsing and dying in the front yard while going to get his newspaper.

Reminds me of an episode of Criminal Minds or CSI that I saw a few years back where pretty much the exact same thing you described happened. I wonder if it took inspiration from that real-life event.

Can someone please explain to me the ricin and lilly of the valley thing? This is what I know:

- Walt produces a ricin capsule so that Jesse can poison Gus.
- Walt tells Saul to have Huell steal Jesse's cigarette pack to make Jesse think that it was Gus who stole it & poisoned Brock.
- Turns out that Brock was poisoned by Walt via Lilly of the Valley.
- Walt & Jesse find the ricin cigarette in that Yoomba thing.
- Huell steals Jessie's dope & this reminds Jesse of the other thing.

1. So, how did Huell steal Jessie's cigarette pack when Jessie already had it on him & found out that the ricin cigarette had been stolen? Or did Huell only lift the ricin cigarette & not the whole pack?

2. How did Walt even meet Brock to get him to consume the Lilly of the Valley thing after Jessie told him to stay away? Also, did he use some powder or liquid from that Lilly of the Valley thing?

3. How did the ricin cigarette end up in the Yoomba? When did Walt put it there if he did?

Also, are these questions even important or am I just asking useless irrelevant questions? :funny: I really wanna know these things to understand stuff better and explain it to my friend.

The post in this link should help clear things up.

In 412, when Jesse goes to Saul's office, Huel pats him down and you can see him steal the ricin from Jesse's coat pocket. Not sure whether he took out the cig itself, or just took the whole pack and replaced it with a new one.

2. How did Walt even meet Brock to get him to consume the Lilly of the Valley thing after Jessie told him to stay away? Also, did he use some powder or liquid from that Lilly of the Valley thing?
According to interviews, the timeline is tight, but doable. Vince and the rest talk about "The Evil Juice Man", meaning Walt probably went to Brock's school, managed to find where he kept his lunch (which would fit, given his teacher background) and put the poison there. What form the Lilly of the Valley was in is really irrelevant.

3. How did the ricin cigarette end up in the Yoomba? When did Walt put it there if he did?
Walt snuck it there when he was "searching" Jesse's apartment with him.

@TheWiseGuy - thanks for the link, this will make for a good read :)

@Brain Damage - ah I see. Thanks for those explanations. I really like them, it's just the Huell lifting that single ricin cigarette that feels weird but it's not a big deal and I'm probably just thinking too deep. I knew Huell stole it but it looked that the whole pack but whatever lol.

I'm sorry, I don't get how people still don't understand this stuff...

We've had these answers, since the end of season 4.

The whole pack does make a lot more sense. I need to watch it again closely to see if I can see.

If someone doesn't follow the show between seasons on boards like this, I can see it being natural to forget even major plot points.

It really doesn't seem simple on first watch and even rewatch, but I dunno. Maybe I just have a hard time picking out stuff like this or maybe I'm just slow with subtle stuff like this, if it's even subtle and not spelt out, otherwise I'm really slow lol.

Well, what did you originally think these 3 scenes meant then?

Walt spinning the gun and it pointing to a plant ->
Brock getting sick ->
Walt throwing that plant away.

Not trying to be facetious, but just trying to see how it could confuse someone.

What in that vague description that literally could mean anything do you see a spoiler or any kind?
