BvS BvS Rottentomatoes score - how important will it be, and what do you hope for? - Part 5

Now they need to make a movie directly addressing the problems people had with BvS.

And on and on it goes....

Or just make a good movie. Forget about universe building and make a good, solid film first.

My recipe for Justice League Universe:

1.) Thank Snyder for his contributions for DC universe.

2.) Find some good story writers who will write simpler stories with better character moments in every movie now. Heartwarming, badass, sad, funny etc. And screenwriters to make it even better. (or somebody who can come up with good story and dialogs)

3.) Eighter put another Superman solo and batman solo before JL or at least delay justice league and rewrite it so it doesn't turn out to be another BvS.

4.) Hire directors who is okay with directing what's on script instead of forcing for their vision.

Audience isn't that unforgiving if you deliver those emotional moments. (doesn't need to be too depressing or corny jokes)

I recommend them to hire someone created or worked within a TV series with good character development and make him surrounded with pros in comics what to do what not to do with these characters.

If Wolverine Origins is fixed, anything can be fixed. Look Disney/Marvel does something smart even though i don't like their movies. Their hierarchy is correct. Nothing genius, they took serials concept and made it work for movie universe. They have show runners instead of visionary directors.

Snyder and Ayer is both visionary even if you like their movies or not. I think some consistency is needed.

Granted i haven't seen the movie and maybe i'll still love it but it's a billion dollar business. I don't think WB is fine with what's going on.

LOL.

I'm already guessing that they'll address Batman's redemption from being a cold-blooded killer and say it was in the plans all along.

I'd rather wait an extra year or two for a good Justice League film rather than get a divisively bad Justice League film from Snyder next year.

WB can't afford a clean slate, the only solution is a quick fix. Simply replace the director and get a new creative team involved. I do think Terrio should be retained but he needs somebody he can better work with. Affleck maybe?

Terrio must go too. We cannot afford to be giving second chances to people who write movies that get this reception.

Me too.

I want Snyder gone.

I'm thinking of starting a "SACK ZACK" campaign :P.

Yea it is pathetic especially on the people that did enjoy the movie.

But how are we taking that enjoyment away from you? The facts are that the film is opening wide this weekend and it has gotten, to put it mildly, reviews that aren't great.

It's also a fact that you enjoyed it.

If the critical consensus bothers most of us here, how does that affect you? You could be rubbing in our faces that you were pleased. You're the lucky one.

No one on this board wanted this movie to fail. We all wanted a great BvS film. For a lot of us though, this is a repeat of 3 years ago.

I'm just tired of that disappointment. I feel these characters deserve better than to have to keep running on that hamster wheel of hope that the next film will get them right.

But if this film got them right for you, then I'm happy for you. I mean that sincerely - I have no desire to take away someone else's enjoyment of the film.

:hmmMan I remember that article he wrote to Sony, hmmm if only.

To those who watched the film.

Was Terrio the problem or Zack?

So Aziz just told me that
Batman takes Wonder Woman for a ride in his car and tells her they have to form the Justice League :hehe:

Come now, it is far too soon to call Snyder or Ayer "visionaries." Ayer has directed nothing truly visionary in his career. Hell, if anything, he has more clout as a writer than a director and even then...one great movie doesn't make up for all the crap he has done.

As for Snyder...Oy.

Jokesonm3, probably both? It's rarely just one guy's fault for everything.

I'm still thinking in my head that when I see it Friday I'm gonna think it's the greatest CBM ever. What's wrong with me?

That's exactly what chris struckmann said (youtube reviewer) its becoming quite a problem. ASM2 struck the same cord aswell. A mixture of studio interference and directors being out of there depth

I cant wait to see this tommorow night just to see what ticked all these reviewers off. I really think these reviewers had some vision of the movie in there head and it played out differently.

Now imagine if all the rest of the CBMs this year are mediocre...

Everyone wants there shared universes now. Hell even universal tried with the classic monsters in dracula untold.
Its no secret marvel struck gold with there universe and yes they had a few duds in there but overall pretty clean world building wise.

That wasn't a dig at you man, seriously. I totally understand where your coming from. This post got me in the feels, you have every right to voice your opinion.

Meh. I think this was the current hiccup. Deadpool was a blast. Civil War looks to carry on the tradition of CA:TWS on a much wider scope. SS looks like it could be non-traditional fun.

IMO only X:AOA looks to be a bit risky.

Ugh, a part of me really doesn't want it to be Terrio's fault, he's actually talented unlike Snyder. :(
