BvS BvS Rottentomatoes score - how important will it be, and what do you hope for? - Part 6

Ultron average score is 6.7, pretty much a middle of the road average rating. The Tomatometer percentage can be a bit misleading.

Yeah, if you really take the time to check the actual scores it's not that different, but I'm talking about the general perception.

Audience score just dropped to 80%. It was at 86% less than 24 hours ago. I think it will end up in the 60's for audience score. It is too early to look at the audience score as set in stone because too many people vote before seeing the film. 99% of the global audience hasn't even seen it yet.

This same thing is happening with Civil War too. Already over 80,000 votes for that one although RT won't say what the audience score is until the week of release. Similar stuff happens on every big movie with large fanbases.
This. campea is trying too hard to defend bvs. its sad to watch.

I am just amazed at the Rotten Tomatoes scores for AoU and Iron Man 3. Way to high

I like Ultron, but IM2/IM3 are rubbish and I say that as a huge fan of the first Iron Man. IM1 is still my favorite MCU film, followed closely by Avengers 1 and Winter Soldier.

Throw a smile in there every now and then with some personality behind it, your not a robot Henry.

I don't think it's his fault. I haven't seen the movie, but from what I've heard, I can't really think of a scene where it would be appropriate for him to smile. He would likely come across as a sadist or a madman.

I see Jumper got 16% on RT, I quite liked that film - again not perfect, but decent watchable film for me (6.1/10 on imdb)

He actually gave it a 8/10 before lowering it to 7.5 after second viewing. I wonder if he regrets it now.

I wouldn't say that. He is probably just not aware of how people vote on these movies without watching them.

The fanboys came out in force for this thing on IMDB but it dropped off pretty fast. Went from 9.6 to 8.2 in less than 24 hours. Compare that with TDK, which started at 9.7ish after 15,000ish votes and is still 9.0 after 1.6 million votes.

You can tell the entire collider crew was holding back from being totally honest about how much they were disappointed and didn't like it. They are in a rough position. They have to avoid fan boy backlash for the good of their channel. in a few months even campea will admit he didn't like it and that 7.5 will become a 5.

Trasnformers 3 right now has a higher score than Batman V Superman.

The first IM is brilliant and ranks at the top of my fav Marvel films along with Winter soldier

For this movie, it's not even Euro/International scores. The film did not open a week early overseas like the MCU tends to do. It's mostly just fans (and trolls) voting before they see the film. 99% of the global audience hasn't seen the film. My guess is it will end up in the 60's, but who knows. Maybe the audience will love it and it'll end up in the 90's.

Sorry, the film opened in my country yesterday, i just saw it last night. As much i wanted the RTrate and the poor reviews to be wrong before watching.... But after come out from theatre i have to agree

People have to remember the audience scores are still mostly european/international audiences. Let's see what happens after 1 week, shall we?

Exactly. That audience # is going to drop. I wonder how he even got that since he's here in the states and looking at RT from here it still shows the audience in anticipation mode since the film hasn't even opened yet. Later today when they get to those 7pm previews then RT will change it to how the audience liked the movie.

I actually really love the cast for this film, it'd be a shame if they recast.

(apart from Luther maybe.. He seems like a crazy version of Tweek from South Park)

I feel it's just trying too hard to be smart without the emotional intelligence to actually back it up.

It's like a dumb emo kid that wears dark clothes and sulks a lot, and thinks that makes him deep, edgy and smarter than all his class mates.

I think this will be another ASM2 where it's so bad it changes the plans of the franchise, in this case, the whole DC universe. I can honestly say I have zero interest in watching JL if Zack Snyder is directing it.

How does this effect your anticipation for Suicide Squad?

I am in the States and RT shows Audience Score instead of Anticipation Mode.

I can't judge Iron Man 3 (haven't seen any of the Iron Man movies), but I think AoU gets crapped on too much. Matter of fact, I actually enjoyed it more than the first Avengers movie.

He did smile, on more than one ocasion:

He was smiling (it was a little creepy 'cause he looked a little sadist lol) when he went to Africa and was about to send that terrorist far away from Lois, he was all smiles at the bathtub scene, he was smiling before the "this is my world, you're my world" moment. And this is just at the top of my head, I'm sure there were other moments.

You should at least see IM1. Great origin movie with a very good sense of humor. It really set the foundation for everything else in the MCU.

I recommend watching Iron Man 1- it is a great film.
Don't bother with the sequels unless you have nothing else to do.

Ok, well they must've just changed that then. Mine also says audience score now. My experience is that RT looks different depending on what country you are viewing it from vis-a-vie the release schedule.

The entire Iron Man trilogy is stellar, I'd recommend it. Sure, the 1st is by far the best of the series but the other 2 are damn fine movies. Easily the best superhero trilogy to date, IMO(though it looks like Cap is going to surpass that and The Avengers franchise probably will as well once Infinity War comes out).

I can't believe people like Iron Man 1 so much. It's an okay film. Maybe I'm not an RDJ fan, but it bores me to tears. The only MCU films I've thoroughly enjoyed were Captain America 1/2.

IMO Iron Man 1 is the best superhero movie ever made. What I can't understand is guys like Campea calling crap like TDK and MoS a masterpiece. Gimme a ***king break.
