I actually wouldn't be against that. Hugh and Halle have great onscreen chemistry (watch Swordfish) and it's obvious that they both love working with each other and have a lot of respect for each other. I mean I think I've read like three interviews where Hugh mentions Halle by name and states how he loves working with her. Plus those that saw the comic con conference will know who Hugh's favorite character is.

Oh, thank God, I thought it was just me. I know there's no comic basis, and most would prefer Forge, but I think the movieverse Storm and Logan would actually be pretty good. And leaves a resurrected Jean and Cyclops to themselves.

Plus, as you say, Halle and Hugh love working together and have a great chemistry.

Thats your opinion because Bassett still looks good even for her age. So that statement is irrelevant because they are both still beautiful.

I dont like the idea of Wolverine&Storm as a couple. To me it wont be believeable.

The feelings Logan has about Jean is something that wont be easy to erase on the movies. To me it would feel forced. at least if done all in one movie.

I'm sure it was quite obvious that the whole asexual comment was a joke, albeit a pretty bad joke (at least to me) but it's quite obvious she was being serious, i mean she laughed whilst saying it. This was obviously her way of telling Bryan that she wants Storm to have a love interest.

IMO it seemed she really didnt know if Storm was asexual, yea she made a joke but I still feel she was oblivious to whats currently going on with Storm or any relationships sh's had. For simply a joke about the movie having a love interest I would love that with like Forge.

I def agree with you, i dont want it spontaneous,but something worked out. I would like a Ultimate reboot Storm and Wolvie were a couple their as well.

the most realistic way i can think of to be able to make jean and cyclops relationship to feel real again is with a FC3, because then we can actually explore what made them get together in the first place, actually watch a love story there

otherwise i think it will be hard to stop people thinking of wolverine when they see jean

Especially on Storm's side: she was super irritated with Logan from start to finish and I think a lot of that was fueled by jealousy of his obsession over Jean and his refusal to 'just let her go". She wanted him by her side to deal with the enemy and who knows...perhaps she wanted more from him.

And I think deep down Logan also has an...awareness of Storm. But he's far too focused on Jean to really cultivate anything with those feelings.

I still think a lot of that comes from those original scripts were Storm and Wolverine were, indeed, sleeping with each other. When I first read it, I was a little horrified (and was glad it was dropped) but in retrospect, it may have given them even the slightest hint of deeper characterisation beyond the very limited portrayals we got in the final draft. So it may have worked.

But in that final draft, every character, ever plot, everything was stripped down to the most basic, basic level.

What works? The character interactions, especially the X-Men, are top-notch. I’m very wary about the Storm/Wolverine relationship, mostly because the two don’t do anything in the first two acts except screw each other.

Give me a hot Halle and Hugh sex scene circa 2001 and I would be happy those two are HOTT and while its grear that they both are happily married there's no denying that they would be hot together in real life.

As for Storm and Logan I would have to say no at least not now as it would be cheap. He needs a sex buddy (enter Domino in X-Force) as he's not ready for a real relationship, and as for Storm I actually want Forge complete with the betrayal storyline (where hes responsible for the temporary loss of her powers) those two worked great in the comics and I hate that they didn't allow them to get married.
