That woulda made her hair too much like Rogues.

What was the big deal with her having naturally white hair?!

And also WHY NO BLUE CONTACT LENSES?!

That, and the dark eyebrows making the white hair look obviously fake are my main problems with movie Storm.

Tsk tsk... you are showing your ignorance here!

Comicbook Storm has dark eyebrows, so for movie Storm to have them does NOT make her fake!

Check the facts first before leaping in and making yourself look silly!

Storm is suppuse to have blue eyes also but I have some comics even before the first X-men came out when they gave her brown eyes and it she still looked good with them. I think cosmetic stuff like this should not be more important than the actual portrayal of the character.

I agree with you for the most part. The portrayal is more important than cosmetics and I think the eyes can be overlooked but the white hair is a must.

I agree the white hair is a must too. That is a definate must. It would have been great if they had her wear the head dress that makes her stand out too.

Its not hard to get a good wig. They just need to look and get the right person/people to do it.

They did a good job of sticking that wig to Halle's hair in the scene when the X-Jet was going down :p

Lol, and in Dark Cerebro...I want it longer in X3 so it will blow more and when she flies it will glide behind her and flow in the breeze.....(dreams)

you know to me that white wig always looked fake. Why can't she just dye her hair? I mean, Lava Girl did.

4 months with pure white hair...walking around Vancouver with white hair. She wont be able to walk down the street...not like she can now like, but she will be even more noticed with long white hair.

I like Halle's hair length now and if it were white it would be perfect....there are always caps and hats...

Fox if you're listening get Tom Watson for your wig design. Make it good this time people!

Get a horse with a while tail and yank it out good n proper! You'll need a few though :D

I think the chemicals that will be needed to dye Halle's hair pure white would eventually cause it to fall out since it weakens the hair. I know it happens when women dye their hair blond and platinum blond, even with other colors, constant dying will damage the hair, and fo rhtis film, it means Halle will have to bleach it constantly since her hair grows and to keep with continuity so 6+ motnhs of that will do some mjor damage, which is why I'm sure she'd never do it. It wouldn't damage the hair that bad if it didn't need constant up keep.

Oh come on, that's just the way eyebrows are drawn!...Virtually EVERY character has their eyebrows drawn in black! Just like the common lack of eyelashes on characters.

I could also direct you to my signature at another forum with a pic with her eyebrows in all their white detail glory. Although usually drawn black, they are obviously supposed to be white, along with her eyelashes, since that is her natural hair colour! You don't get people with one colour hair on their head and a totally different colour everywhere else!

Even if that wasn't the case, it still looks far more noteable on a REAL person, like when these people bleach their hair and walk around with gleaming yellow peroxide with ridiculously contrasting dark eyebrows. You can SEE it's not natural.

Also, on the DVD extras on the film when they are testing Storms looks, you hear someone say "what about the eyebrows?"...

But obviously there is no way for them to have made them white, 'cos you can't bleach eyebrows (heck, you're not supposed to use any dye around your eyelashes/eyebrows!) Although you can have them tinted...anyway I digress.

Not possible (except with CGI) but still looks silly and fake.

So there ya go, I'm not ignorant about the comics, but you are about real people's hair :p

Regardless of real people.... Storm in the comics has dark eyebrows, except for one or two occasions when the artists changed things.

It's always looked right to me that her eyebrows are dark. And, like you yourself say, difficult to bleach eyebrows into a bright white!

At least movie Storm is the same as comic Storm if she has dark eyebrows. But I don't think it should be an issue that detracts from the character.

The white colour for the wig in X1 was much better than the yellowed thing in X2, even though the white makes people in the real world think 'fake' because they are just not used to seeing black people with pure white hair.

I still woulda liked the blue contacts though...

I didn't think the X2 wig looked yellow-y but I didn't like the style, particularly in the Nightcrawler/church scene with it tucked behind her ears...

And how much more silly would she look with white eyebrows. I have never in my life seen Storm with white eyelashes.

But she's mutant! She doesn't have to follow the normal rules!

Polaris has green hair, but not green eyebrows. We assume her bush ain't green either!

Rogue has just a white streak, nothing else turned white.

You'll have to think beyond the rules of our real-world hair... these are sci-fi mutants!

They should have definitely given Halle the blue eyes since it's among the most striking aspects of her look along with the hair.

I hoped that they gave her them since the beginning but they overlooked that part. If the studio went the whole mile with Jessica Alba, I dunno why they didn't do it with Halle. I doubt they will give her contacts in the sequel though due to continuity unless they explain it very well.

Eew...

But on the contrary, I assume that it IS! Just like I assume Storms would be white...

But enough! This is unhealthy! lmao

Storm's Hair isn't naturally white, it turned that way, and her eyebrows stayed black. Atleast they never drew them white or said they turned white as well, they just explained the hair on her head.

Also, on the DVD extras on the film when they are testing Storms looks, you hear someone say "what about the eyebrows?"...
Yeah, this is when they tested Halle with contacts and white eyebrows (which was placed on with makeup/fake skin) and a noteably better wig, with OUT bangs! Every thing looked great if Storm was flying/ fighting, but 1) Halle couldn't see with the contacts in (white ones, not blue) and 2) She would look freaky just walking around looking like that, and I think they realized that.

Don't hair stylist dye client's eyebrows all the time? Even bleachin them when it comes to dying dark eyebrows light?

I think you are majorly wrong there Coolcat.

i personally hope the wig goes longer and they lose that crappy fringe from the first one, because i actually thought it was better than x2s (not by a lot but by some...).also i hope the costumes stay the same because it will avoid the whole batman and robin element of having to have new costumes per battle.

i think that they are going to change the whole death aspects of the script and just seriously maim cyclops and probably make the professor braindead (as revenge for tampering with jeans mind she just takes his away) and that way at the end they can work together (somehow) to bring her back from the darkness.

i hope people have more faith in the script and are a little more level headed when it comes to perceptions of the cast (as people are seeming to be more and more these days)

I know real people who have different colored hair and eyebrows, no artificial changes involved.

He is wrong, Storm comes from a line of black women born with white hair and blue eyes, it's not even anything to do with her mutation.
