That new pic of Storm flying is really making me think that for the first time Halle is actually going to NAIL Storm. She looks amazing there. Hope we get a shot of Famke doing something like that but surrounded in fire!

I hope so! That's the perfect time for her origin to be revealed. That would be fine, i realise there's no space for another origin sequence to be done when we have Angel and the Jean Grey flashbacks going on.

But a balcony conversation like this...

Storm - 'What's happening to us Charles, why are they pushing this cure on us, why now?
Xavier - 'Remember why you are here Ororo. Those children in your village bullied you, then your powers emerged and you had the ability to fight back. You became their goddess, you earned acceptance and a place in their lives. The world fears and hates us just as those children first did with you... now they are making it serious with this cure...and now more than ever we must use our powers to fight back.'
Storm - 'I never knew it would come to this, when you came to me all those years ago and asked me to join you, to come here to this country. Can they hate us so much...
Xavier - 'It would seem so. And Magneto will be more angry than he has ever been. He will find his allies and he will strike. We'd best be prepared for the terrible things ahead of us.'
Storm -'Magneto is right to be so angry'
Xavier - 'But his methods are never right. Murder and destruction is never the answer, it makes him as terrible as those he opposes.'

Just a minor nitpick:

As I was watching the teaser trailer, I noticed that Storm's hair doesn't blow
around in this shot. Does this strike anyone else as kinda odd? She's riding
a wind current, yet her hair is not moving at all. This could give the whole deal
something of a "obvious wirework" feel if they don't have some sort of added
SFX to play with.

As I mentioned before, the only way her hair and clothing could feasibly not
move, would be if she's created a vortex of air (microtornado) around her.
The air at the centers of such wind twisters is very still and calm, and objects
found there can actually float undisturbed.

Anybody got other speculations?

Mine as well, she looks so in control! It's the posture... and the wind effect doesn't hurt at all.

If the conversation is exactly like my dialogue, I want a credit and the chance to be involved in writing a future movie!

I'll be very surprised if the conversation will be as detailed as my dialogue scene. They'd be welcome to use it, but it's a bit late now - I should have thought of it earlier and made sure Simon and Zak saw it.

i agree with you lightning. storm is supposed to use the wind to make her fly yet all but one clip of her flying doesnt have her hair or clothes moving.

From the look of that shot it looks as though she is creating a mini tornado around her though.

Yeah I noticed that too. But I think I saw some footage from one of the bazillion TV spots that showed her rising in this same scene and her eyes were white. Apparently this is an oversight on the part of the commercial artist.
