Pink not being "macho" is a human construction. There is no reason to believe that no alien race finds pink manly or fierce.

Great Galactus pics! Seriously,if that thing was coming at Earth,i would be scared as ****!

It's pink and purple, but still a lot of pink.

Also, you say you'd be scared if Galactus was coming to eat your planet. However, it's a film, so the audience's reaction wouldn't be terrified.

I was saying that if i saw a giant, whether it was a godzilla like humanoid or a larger than earth cloud i would scared nomatter what. But if i were a member of the audience,i wouldn't be scared at all.
BTW,we are being extremely off topic. This thread is about Captain America's costume.

About Galactus: pure BS the useless pink discussion. The Marvel Ultimate Game showed how it should have been done in the movie. Check it out below.

FF movies were a downright shame, a total lack of imagination, bad script, miserable direction, etc etc etc. A disgrace.

I hope someone in the future do it right.

No, just less crappy movies would get made.

Oh come on. If the director of the next Superman movie said he couldn't make the Prankster a convincing villain, that's completely understandable. While he might work in some comics, he doesn't make a very good cinematic villain. While it might be possible to make a literal Kirby-stile suit work, it might not happen with the direction they've established for the movie.

Prankster is not a serious villain in the comics nor was even intended to be. But if a director says he can't make Kirby's Cap work..then he needs to direct something else. They're making Kirby's Thor work and it's on a way bigger scale than Cap.

... actually, they didn't go with the Kirby Thor.

I see lots of Kirby in these images. The lines and design of the armor along with the futuristic design of some of the interiors is Kirby all the way as opposed to the more Norse/viking approach of some later artists.

Yeah, I've yet to see any Ultimate references in the Thor stuff we've seen - the emphasis definately seems to we in Kirby's futuristic regal tech.

See I dont believe this. We have seen in various threads pics of a Kirby inspired suit that look way better than the suit we were shown as the movie suit

I agree they could of made the suit look like Kirby's design but they didn't cause they already have the Kirby design in movie even though we haven't seen it yet but it seems to me that they wanted to update the kirby look and in the ultimate look to make it unique. Thor costume is also unique because its a mixture of Kirby,(cape, helmet, armor) ultimate,(black leather pants with beard)and Current look(chain mail arms). Iron Man's armor in the beginning was silver instead of gold and updated later on and it still look like iron man even though there were some things different from the comics and if you look at the other costume designs they had for that movie you can tell that they was going for something that is the same from comics but at same time a little different.

the discs arent glowing or I havent seen a pic of them glowing, Thor had a beard way before the ultimate universe was a twinkle in Marvel's eye

the whole discs don't glow, but the pattern along the edges of the discs do.

also, i love how the cap costume is so meh-tacular that everyone has just given up talking about it now.
