Cast the Harley Quinn/BoP movie

I am rather excited for this film. I wouldn't freak out over having Ivy and Catwoman having tattoos. It only happened to the Joker and Harley because it fit the character in the universe.

Since it's said that Margot Robbie is producing this herself maybe she liked working with him enough to push for him to direct this.

I could see her going with a director she already knows, likes, and trusts rather than going with an unknown that might have a different vision for the movie than she does.

We're talking about a property that wasn't even a blip on WBs radar until SS came out. We're likely getting Sirens before a Superman, Flash, or Green Lantern solo. Founding members of the JL are taking a backseat.

And to top it all off, this is being led by the same director who bent over backwards to test screenings, studio cut mandates that compromised the integrity of his story, and sacrificed time working on the script (the entire foundation of a film) to meet a rushed deadline.

This announcement comes literally within 24 hours of Ben reiterating he's not going to drop a project to meet a timetable. And he has WBs golden goose in his hands, a project that was likely being planned for going on 3 years now. That should tell you the incredible disconnect between the suits and its creatives they hire.

I could totally see Ayer being Margot's suggestion to direct this. She pitched the film in the first place, and is the EP for it as well. Also she (and most of the cast) seemed to have enjoyed working with him on SS. As for casting:

Eva Green as Catwoman. Or, should they want to go the "Earth Kitt" route, either Rosario Dawson or Ruth Negga.

Evan Rachel Wood as Poison Ivy.

Uhh Ben Affleck just confirmed "The Batman" is on track to film in Spring 2017 likely for a July 2018 release

Oh, I don't know. Megan Fox was pretty hot at one point. if it's going to be that level, we are probably looking at Jessica Alba or the return of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. This movie has the potential to be awesome or totally suck. Think of it as Batbaywatch.

Apples and oranges. Batman is a major character that needs to be done right. Gotham City Sirens is just a fun little movie that doesn't mean much in the overall DCEU. It's the equivalent of Deadpool in the Marvel Universe.
