That´s it,Rodrigo...This is what I really would like to see in Batman 3 hahaha
The case is that I already saw Catwoman,now I would like to see Talia,because is new for me,I want to see something new.Always the same characters tires me,you know?
I want innovation...I hate sameness! And for me,to put Catwoman again in a Batman movie, is sameness. I don´t know you but I hate to feel that sensation: "I already saw this movie before".

Well if Catwoman was his love interest,I just hope Nolan choose the right actress to play her.

How do you know that?
I don´t have this your sure,dear...I still think that Nolan will surprise all of us. I think it´s easier Talia to appear in B3 than Catwoman just by the fact of her father was in Batman Begins. It´s a huge reason to put her in the next movie,I really don´t understand why not.
There's no better time to introduce Talia than in film 3.
This insistence of the people with Catwoman make me sick!

By your logic then we should have Harley Quinn in BB3 since Joker was in TDK, or that Carnage should be in Spider-Man 4 since Venom was in Spider-Man 3. Yet, at least with Carnage, hardly anyone wants that. Just because the beginning of the story, or at least an intro, is there doesn't mean it's for the best.

Than I suggest not posting in the Catwoman thread. Ra's story is over, it's as simple as that, Nolan's not gonna come back just to bring Ra's back into the fold, even via his daughter. Bet your house on it. On top of that, even though I don't think he should pander to public opinion, no-one cares about Talia outside of some dedicated comic fans, hell no-ones even heard of her, from a story and marketing perspective Catwoman is the logical choice.

No one's story is over until they're laying six feet underground. How does one even determine where a character's story "begins" and "ends", anyhow?

Look, If you want to get technical then yes until we bare witness to a characters' burial and the events of said character was apart of are determined never to be spoken of again within the context of the series by the rest of cast of characters, yes, his or her story can always be brought back into the fold, it's a freakin' movie, anything can happen.

It's not about being technical, it is what it is. Characters can be re-used all the time. Even villains (ask Vader). I don't necessarily think they're just one-offs. Baddies like Joker and Ra's especially, have several to offer over multitudes of stories.

Of course. How did that turn out?

The reality is that most people see this film franchise as one single story. And within one story, it's to bring the same character in too changing positions. Within the same story, characters have what is known as archs, they change from one status to a changed status in one direction. Ra's had that arch, the master surpassed by the pupil, that's his basic archetype. To bring him back one more time after that arch was completed would only leave you with two choices: 1. to have him back functioning in the same role, with the same theme and triggering the same aspects, which is redundant and repetitive, or 2. To have him in a much different role, which is confusing, had to find motives for, and can be done much better by other characters.

Bottom line: Bruce had a conflict with Ra's... he resolved that conflict. What else could be done now?

Not to mention I think Talia is almost always used in awful ways, often ruining Ra's and Bruce as characters at the same time.

How come people post sexy pics of women to show how they'd be Catwoman? I mean, besides the obvious that catwoman needs to be sexy, why not post clips of good acting? Anyone can look fantastic for a magazine shoot or a photo with the right people editing. I mean, there's a picture where Maggie Gyllenhaal looks amazing and she's largly average as far as being attractive goes. I really don't think pics of actresses looking somewhat like Selina Kyle in a singular picture really makes sense.

Well, I think Talia is a useless character right now, the franchise is trying to get more "actual" with each new movie, introducing this character right now would be taking the story again to the beginning, with a boring result, the third movie needs fresh characters...
