Chapter 39 - “Angels and Monsters” – Discussion Thread 10/13/08

Yep, the guy playing the puppet master is a friend of my professors. I wonder what he is gonna think of the new episode. He put emphasis on his character, saying, he can make people do what they don't want to do...especially women.

I give this episode 2 thumbs down. I was loving the season till now. How predictable was the big twist this episode?
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't even think of Maury being involved.

Good episode. Maury was predictable. Building an army. So there are two different companies. Mr. Petrellis, and Angelas now. Hmm.

How so?

I mean really where are all the clues?

I saw Matt's dad as an obvious one but the Petrelli thing. I don't see how that's predictable.

I'm glad it's parkman's dad instead of a vision. I like the episode. Want more scenes with Peter and Sylar though. Also want somebody to tell Claire her sylar is her uncle.

$10, says, Hiro froze time and put a ketch up bottle under his shirt, or something lol

Yeah it's something. Hiro wouldn't just suddenly kill his best friend. The writing is bad but not that bad.

Next week looks intense. The game with Claire and the Puppet Man is going to be quite possibly the most terrifying sequence on the show ever.

Looks like Papa P. doesn't like the way the company has been handled and is going to try to pull a coup on ole Angela.

This season is awesome!! It is completely different in tone and and everything from season 1 but is def just as good.

I'am pissed!!!!!

freakin I dont know why I thought the show started 10:00 :cmad: only got 15 minuets of it:cmad::cmad::cmad:

The writers have certainly grown a pair of balls this season. I love how HRG is starting to become more ambiguous in his motives again, and how we still don't still know whether Sylar is truly trying to reform.

He probably froze time, and they spent an hour figuring out how to fake Ando's death. Then unfreeze time, fake kill Ando, join the company and get information. Haha gotta love Hiro.

Of course he won't:o The people he thought he trusted are using him. He will go off the chain again.

Also, things arn't looking too good for meredith seeing as she isn't credited for the episode after next week. Too bad if she is killed because I really like her character.

I was thinking something like that is what happened.

It's too out of character. I'm sure there's some kind of feasible explanation.

Her and the blue fire man must fight:cmad:

Eric Doyle (The Puppet Man) is TERRIFYING!! Seriously! The scene next week with him, Claire, Meredith, and Sandra looks absolutely TWISTED!

What's sad is, I'm pretty sure I know how it ends.

Meredith gets killed.
